Gorgeous Lake Garda is a short stroll from Lombardy's Villenpark Sanghen, in spectacular setting on the water's western side. A short path takes you to the nearest public beach, or to the buoys where boat owners can moor up while they settle down here for a stay. The ancient town of Manerba del Garda is three kilometres away. There's tons to do around here, from watersports including windsurfing, sailing and paddleboarding on the lake to exploring more leisurely by boat; visiting the villages, historic houses and vineyards around the lake shore, or teeing off in the surroundings: the site has links with some of the area's best golf courses, suitable for all levels from beginners to the expert. A range of accommodation is available on site, which is surrounded by greenery with stunning views over the lake. There are three swimming pools, a tennis court and a small gym to puff around at beforehand, and a kids' club and playground for mini guests. Hiking and cycling trails around the lake start from the grounds. Villenpark Sanghen also has a restaurant with takeaway. Barbecues are allowed.

Liked: Near the lake but a little bit of a trek down a hill and back up. Little bar and restaurant on site.

Disliked: Could do with site having a little tlc. My Ehu went off. Showers were just a trickle.

Liked: We were greeted by really friendly staff on arrival - very helpful. Access to the lake was brilliant. Good location - an easy drive to Desenzano del Garda where we got the train to Venice.

Disliked: Only one toilet block - not too busy but used by a lot of people.

Liked: 3 swimming pools on site to choose from, lake within 5 minute walk from camping spot, friendly staff, relaxed and friendly atmosphere, free entertainment for the kids in the evenings, decent toilet/shower areas.

Disliked: No toilet paper or hand soap provided in the toilets.

Disliked: For mange oliventræer man ikke kan undgå at gå ind i når man parkere sin bil.
For få parkeringspladser og virkelig smalle og snævre parkeringspladser.
Der er ikke særlig mange skygge steder. Når man bor i telt bliver det lynhurtigt meget varmt i 35 graders varme. Ikke sjovt at sove i telt i fuld sol, der måtte vi være kreative med to små børn hver dag.

Local attractions

The ancient seaside town of Manerba del Garda, said to have been founded in dedication to the Roman goddess Minerva, is three kilometres away. It's another popular watersports destination around this part of the lake, but is probably best known as the site of several prehistoric pile-dwellings, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. More stunning scenery and ancient history is around the Rocca di Manerba del Garda natural and archaeological park, within four kilometres; the several vineyards within 20 kilometres, and the Il Vittoriale degli Italiani manor house and gardens in Gardone Riviera, also 20 kilometres. For day trips, Gardaland amusement park and aquarium can be reached in 35 kilometres, Brescia in 40 and Verona in 55. Several golf courses are within 30 kilometres.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Entertainment and activities are available between 01/07 and 30/08.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The restaurant is open between 15/05 and 15/09.
