It is most certainly blue… and somewhat spectacular too. Make your Italian home for as long as poss at the beaut Brescia site of Residence Onda Blu, for blue waters and smashing scenery all around – as well as watery excursions on what's quite frankly one of the most gorgeous lakes on all the planet. Said lake is, but of course, Lake Garda, the cobalt waters of 370 square kilometres making up the biggest lake in Italy, and famed for centuries as a mighty scenic destination for travellers of all types from all over the world. Residence Onda Blu is on the western shore of the lake in the Bay of Manerba, a few kilometres from both the Rocca di Manerba nature park and the Alto Garda Bresciano Natural Park. The friendly team can assist guests in booking tiptop excursions around the lake and its surrounds, or hire out bikes for those who want to pedal around the lake's shores (also highly recommended). More watery days can be had at the site pool (also with lake views, natch), and eats and drinks at the lakeside restaurant-pizzeria and two bars.

Liked: Well kept site , great location with access to Lake Garda, big pitches, helpful friendly staff, nice facilities

Disliked: Can’t check in until 2.30 pm , makes a short day Check out by 10am, for a campervan timing could be closer. No loo roll a minor negative

Disliked: Leider könnten wir aufgrund des windigen Wetters den Schwimmbad nich benutzen - Wasser war relativ kalt für kleine Kindern

Liked: Dużo miejsca na polu namiotowym, dostępny basen i restauracja. Bardzo blisko dostęp do jeziora. Zamykany bramą, zabezpieczone hasłem WiFi.

Disliked: Nie było papieru toaletowego w żadnej toalecie przez 2 dni, ani ręcznika papierowego.
Brak dostępu do wody przy swoim stanowisku. Trzeba mieć swoją butelkę z wodą albo chodzić do łazienki.

Liked: Anlage an sich war gut.

Stellplatz (oberhalb der mobile homes) auch gut.

Pool Anlage und Bistro gut gepflegt und sauber

Disliked: Sanitäranlagen sind weit von einem 4 Sterne Standard entfernt.

Sehr alt - renovierungsbedürftig, kein Klopapier vorhanden (grundsätzlich nicht - No Go !!!)

Seifenspender immer leer

Keine Haken und Ablagemöglichkeiten für Kulturbeutel, Handtücher etc.

WLAN Abdeckung mangelhaft

Liked: La localización es inmejorable, con acceso directo al lago. La piscina es muy grande y con muchas tumbonas. Muchos servicios (bar, restaurante...)

Disliked: Sin servicio de aguas grises ni químico para caravanas.
La red wifi tiene poca cobertura.
La limpieza de las zonas de lavabos y duchas deja mucho que desear (suelos, telarañas en las puertas...).
Todo muy sorprendente para un establecimiento con este precio.

Local attractions

These are such smashing surrounds that you likely won't want to stir too far: what luck, then, that there's so much to do within easy reach, like canoeing on the water or cycling alongside it, and hikes, bike rides and nature spotting trips in the nearby national parks. Get on target for outdoor activities such as archery, hiking, horse riding, mountain biking and climbing at Alto Garda Bresciano Natural Park, stretching high up and alongside most of the western shore of Lake Garda a few kilometres north of Residence Onda Blu. Also within a few kilometres is the Rocca di Manerba archaeological and nature park, with Mesolithic ruins – and spectacular views – on the summit of La Rocca. Local town Manerba (dedicated aeons ago to Roman goddess Minerva) is home to the intriguing sights of several prehistoric stilt house settlements that make up part of the Prehistoric Pile Dwellings around the Alps UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you desire more townie sightseeing time, the province capital of Brescia is about 45 minutes' drive from the site.
