Villaggio Camping La Ginestra

Liked: Had warm welcome from staff and were shown to pitch which was perfect with some shade. Close to beautiful beach. Gorgeous pool - very clean and surrounded with comfortable sun beds. Delicious pizza in evening! Good nights sleep. Hot water in shower and considering age of facilities- they were kept clean. Would have stayed longer but we’re on a mission to get to Sicily. We would go back!

Disliked: The facilities- although functional- need up-dating.

Liked: Tutto.
Dal luogo, campeggio tranquillo, spartano, senza fronzoli, ma il necessario: pulizia, personale disponibile, gentile, sempre a disposizione dal bar alla reception al ristorante.
Una squadra di persone di una gentilezza e pazienza incredibili.
Le ragazze al bar, che vi raccontano di libri e film, sempre pronte a sorridervi e ad aiutarvi per qualsiasi esigenza!
Giacomo ha la capacità di stare contemporaneamente in più posti a risolvere qualsiasi intoppo degli ospiti! E' eccezionale!
Infine Agostino dall'enorme pazienza e gentilezza... che dire?
Io ci ritorno!

Liked: La piscina molto grande e pulita, la cordialità del personale, la vicinanza al mare, la presenza all'interno del campeggio di numerose docce per rinfrescarsi gratuitamente. La pizzeria con forno a legna e il bar dove poter gustare e prenotare i cornetti e il pane. Il passaggio settimanale di fruttivendoli e casari che ha consentito di acquistare sempre prodotti freschi e genuini a km zero. Le piazzole ben separate e distanti tra loro.

Disliked: I bagni vecchi e mal funzionanti. Giostrine per bambini ossidate e arruginite. Animazione alla piscina assente e il bagnino alla piscina distratto dalla sua ulteriore mansione di dj

Liked: Veramente un posto fantastico … soprattutto devo fare i miei complimenti ai gestori del campeggio e tutti quelli che ci lavorano , veramente persone squisite , per ogni minimo problema o bisogno ci sono sempre stati. Ringrazio tutti soprattutto il mitico Giacomo , simpaticissimo e davvero gentile.
Se questo non vi convince , il campeggio ha una spiaggia privata e mare pulitissimo. Come panorama c’è Stromboli e le isole Eolie . Davvero un paradiso.

Liked: Rodinný, přátelský přístup s velkým pochopením pro děti. Poctivé domácí jídlo s poznáním místního jídla i výborného vína.
Dokonalá pláž s minimem lidí (pouze kemp), srovnatelná s Karibikem.

Disliked: chybí točené pivo

Liked: So friendly and helpful. Beautiful campsite with private beach and amazing sunsets. Lovely pool and restaurant at night. Our electricity cable wasn't long enough but this was no problem as they provided an extension cable. Only planned to stay 1 night but stayed 2. Would have stayed longer but had to move on. Would highly recommend and was our favourite campsite of our trip.

Liked: On arrival we were met by very friendly staff. We had the choice of where to Pitch up.
The staff were on hand to help with any of our needs.
The beach was beyond beautiful with deckchairs & umbrellas to relax in. Great size swimming pool, which I guess due to the heat was warm all the time.
Most things on site were dated but would not have been a problem ( please read dislike).

Disliked: Now, as mentioned in likes, most things were dated but my Wife noticed the ladies area was only cleaned once in our stay & became very smelly & dirty as more people arrived, to the extent after looking at a dead cockroach on the floor in the ladies, seeing three others in thde toilets & the smell she stopped using the washing area. ( That saved our sanitiser as she was having to clean the toilet & basin every visit).
Not there fault but we were constantly plagued with ants & little tiny black insects that bit.
We were charged €7 extra per night for electricity which we were not aware of at the time of booking.
Lastly, They had what appeared to be a Saturday Club round the Swimming Pool for around 40 children, not a problem, the pool was easy big enough for us all, what was frustrating, annoying & deeply upsetting was my Wife was minding her own business sitting on a sun lounger around the pool when she was smacked on the side of her face by a football that had rebounded off the side of the kerb & must have been going around 15/20 m.p.h on impact, my wife screemed out in agony. Not one member of staff came over to see if she was OK, as well as not following up later in the day to see how she was. My wife was in so much pain I tried to get her to the hospital, even upto bedtime she was in pain & did not sleep well as the bruising was now showing. Had that ball hit a baby it could have killed it. There should have been more supervision with these youngsters, especially as they were dropped off by their parents.

From the manager: Siamo profondamente dispiaciuti dell’accaduto, ma in un ambiente molto grande e con tante persone può sfuggire qualcosa che accade. Ci dispiace di non aver saputo da voi della pallonata ricevuta e di averlo letto solo nella recensione, ci saremmo attivati per portare la signora da un dottore. Per quanto riguarda la luce, su PitchUp è chiaramente indicata come extra perché non riteniamo opportuna farla pagare anche a chi utilizza i pannelli solari e non l’elettricità fornita dal villaggio. Quanto alla pulizia, i bagni del campeggio vengono puliti minimo 2 volte al giorno e in ogni caso all’occorrenza anche in caso di segnalazione da parte dei nostri ospiti. Ci dispiace di essere venuti a conoscenza dei fatti leggendoli nella recensione quando ormai è troppo tardi per intervenire e rendere il vostro soggiorno più confortevole.

Liked: Schöner, großer Pool! Super nette und hilfsbereite Gastleute! Wir durften ein Apartment als privates Bad nutzen, da wir nur eine Nacht da waren! Sehr ruhig!

Disliked: In die Jahre gekommen, viele Ameisen, Pizzeria geschlossen, aber wenn wir was gebraucht hätten, hätte man sich bemüht.
