Ambling around Avignon is made all the better with a stay at this très bon site in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region… Camping Les Micocouliers is a 20-minute drive from the Rhône riverside city and within 10 minutes of the typically Provencal town of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. This park’s got enough to keep you occupied when you’re not off on explores in local lands edged by coast and mountains – it's got a couple of pools (including one for any toddlers you have in tow), table tennis, volleyball and basketball to bounce between. An outdoor fitness centre’s here for gym junkies and a library full of French, German and English tomes is to hand for more serene stays… Thinking you might need to step foot away from the site for food? Non is the answer, as bread is delivered each morning and an eatery is open for snacks. To maximise all the time you have on holiday to try tasty French cuisine however, the restaurants and local shops of Graveson are but a five-minute drive away. Bikes are for rent in this village too, so you can sit on the saddle and ride towards Saint-Rémy-de-Provence for glances at the Greek ruins of Glanum and tours of the olive oil production facilities at the Moulin du Calanquet mill. Keep eyes peeled for reproductions of Vincent Van Gogh paintings displayed along a 1.5-kilometre road into town, a tribute to the artist who was once confined at the Saint Paul Monastery here (a 15-minute drive from the site) when it was a sanatorium…

Liked: Les emplacements ombragés et assez grands, la piscine fort agréables le par ce temps de canicule, la propreté des sanitaires, le calme du camping et sa proximité av st remy de Provence et d autre jolies village a visiter.
L extrême gentillesse du personnel embauché pour la saison.

Disliked: Les moustiques !!! On a été dévoré et cela a gâché un peu notre séjour.
Le fait que la réception et le bar ne soit pas suffisament ouvert.
Cela crée un manque de convivialité car il y a eu bcp de soirée ou tout était fermé.

Liked: Pitch allocated on arrival. Good sizes and clearly marked natural bays. Two excellent sanirary blocks with good washing facilities and showers. Lovely welcome at Reception, very helpful. Bread deluvery each morning if needed. Had a local Italian meal from delivery van (Mondays) supermarkets 4,5 and 7 km away. Driving distance to Avignon.swimming pool was a great welcome when hot.Perfect for a quiet stay of 3 days.

Disliked: Bitten to death .

Liked: Las parcelas son amplias y arboladadas con buena sombra y los baños son limpios y cómodos.

Disliked: Reservamos el mismo dia que pernoctamos tipo 18 hs y llegamos 20.30 y no podiamos entrar ya que ko habia nadie en recepcion hasya el otro dia. Si bien los administradores viven en el mismo camping la entrada es por lectura se placa y tuvimos que hablar con gente que tenía el telefono de los dueños para que les avisen que estabamos. Nos atendió con mala cara sicoendonos que ella no podia estar todo el dia.poeqie tenia nenes chicos y se levanta muy temprano y bla bla. Pongan una persona o avisen en el sitio que NO SE PUEDE ENTRAR DESPUES DE LAS 19 HS

Les heures d'arrivées sont indiquées lors de la réservation.
Il peut arriver qu'il y ait un imprévu et que les personnes arrivent en retard. Dans ce cas, les personnes me téléphonent, ou bien m'envoient un email, et ainsi je peux m'organiser pour les accueillir sans soucis.
Dans votre cas, vous avez fait la réservation 5 minutes avant la fermeture du bureau, et vous étiez encore loin donc vous saviez très bien que vous arriveriez beaucoup plus tard. Vous ne m'avez pas appelé ni fait de mail pour me prévenir. Lorsque vous êtes arrivés à 21h passé, au lieu de me téléphoner (mon numéro est inscrit sur la porte de la réception , donc bien visible), vous êtes venu frapper à la porte de mon domicile, sur une zone privée.
La politesse et le respect de chacun sont essentiels et le fait d'être clients ne vous en dispense pas.
Je vous souhaite une bonne continuation.

Liked: Location. Basic but clean.

Disliked: Closed campsite at 10pm by locking gates. We weren’t notified of this. Did understand as there were children on site but would have been a nice to know.

Liked: Entrance to site. Sarah was pleasant. Bread delivered to van; Bambous en Provence nearby. Italian food van visit to site.

Disliked: Site was packed, got last pitch available among static caravans (was told people ring to book spaces, so beware). Site appears unkempt and untidy - weeds, broken tiles around steps to toilets etc.; showers were clean but trickled water.

Il y avait en effet beaucoup de monde au mois de juin, et il valait mieux avoir réservé son emplacement à l'avance. Lorsqu'il y a beaucoup de monde il est difficile de pouvoir choisir son emplacement, et je suis désolée que vous n'ayez pas apprécié le votre.
En effet il est possible de réserver par téléphone, je ne comprends pas le problème à ce sujet?
Je ne comprends pas du tout ce que vous dites au sujet de l'entretien car notre site est entretenu régulièrement et il n'y a pas comme vous le dites de mauvaises herbes ou de carreaux cassés. Le fait que vous postiez en anonyme me laisse supposer que votre commentaire n'est pas tout à fait honnête.
Je vous souhaite tout de même une bonne route...

Liked: Nice size flat pitches. Unisex sanitary blocks but work well. Nice pool although men need Speedo type trunks in usual French way. Very friendly staff. Location means it's easy to travel to various interesting places locally.
Ok for dogs but nowhere to walk them off site and onsite they must be on lead all of the time and not allowed in the pool area.

This site is in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, about a 10-minute drive from the Alpilles Natural Regional Park, a stunning setting full of limestone mountains, olive groves, green orchards and cypress hedges with farmhouses, churches and villages dotted about. During jaunts here, explorers can easily investigate pretty communes like Les Baux-de-Provence (25-minute drive) and Eygalières (just over 20 minutes from Camping Les Micocouliers) as well as ace archaeology at the Oppidum des Caisses de Jean-Jean (40 minutes) and the Roman Barbegal aqueduct and mill. Pack the binoculars too for sighting some 250 bird species, ranging from Bonelli's eagle to the Egyptian vulture, along the way towards taking in modern art at the Carrières de Lumières (20 minutes away), a disused quarry showing art-based multimedia displays like projections of famous paintings with music. Rather trek than look for birds? You can do this as well on the many marked trails in the Alpilles Natural Regional Park or give climbing, horse riding and mountain biking a go…

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Modifications are subject to a €50.00 (£42.17) fee.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Pitches

You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Pool

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
Please note there is no lifeguard on duty.
Swimsuits are obligatory and swimming shorts or Bermuda shorts are not permitted.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 01/04 and 30/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
No vehicle movement between 10:30 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.
