Here’s your chance to camp mere steps from a beach. One of the few campsites on the Picardy Coast to have direct access to the sea, Camping Onlycamp Onival has spectacular views over the Bay of the Somme (look out for the seals), 10 minutes’ drive from Woignarue. At this quiet coastal site, pitches are set roughly 30 yards from the water – and light years away from the bustle of everyday life. Once you arrive, take a deep breath of fresh sea air and then get stuck into a multitude of activities. Venture out onto the water to try your hand at canoeing, sailing or yachting, or jump on your bike and be off exploring the Opal Coast. Secure bike storage is provided for your peace of mind. At the end of a busy and fun-filled day, hot showers, washing-up sinks and baby-changing areas are on hand. You won’t need to worry about food, as the snack bar takes care of any munchies, and in high season, there’s a small store selling cold drinks, ice cream and local produce. Disliked: ° Sanitair ( zeer verouderd, toilet niets verlicht)
° veel te hoog, ongemaaid grasperk

Liked: Blij dat we een camping hadden dadelijk aan zee.

Disliked: Het was een totaal verwaarloosde vieze camping.
De plaatsen waren nog ok.

Maar de sanitaire blokken waren niet meer bekeken sinds de jaren 60.
Vieze, vuile merendeels franse wc's.

Disliked: 1) emplacement tente, chercher après des bornes électriques fonctionnelle et libre
2)l’herbe haute, pas assez entretenu

Récapitulative : Camping à fuir !! Vaut mieux dormir dans la voiture que dans ce fichu camping…
On plante sa tente ou l’on veut, aucun espace négliger on a passer 1h a trouver un endroit assez correct avec une borne électrique fonctionnelle et libre. L’herbe est haute, la pelouse pas assez entretenu. J’avais l’impression qu’on était dans un immense champs où l’on fait ce qu’on veut quand on veut… Au niveau de l’hygiène c’est très sale !!! Les douches et toilettes rempli d’excrément, même pas nettoyer ou très peu. J’ai préféré me retenir et faire de la route plutôt que d’aller dans ses sanitaires. Même pour une nuit je ne reviendrai plus. Trop chère pour ce que c’est !!!

Disliked: Nous sommes venu en juillet , reparti deux jours avant comme nous avons attraper le COVID , donc nous sommes revenu deux nuits en août es là catastrophe, j'avais l'impression de ne pu être dans le même camping ! Pu d'eau dans les toilettes a proximité, douche rien a redire l'eau très chaude et un toilette sur deux de disponible ! Sans parler du ménage qui n'est pas fais !!

Liked: Nous avons adoré le calme du camping, sa situation côté plage. Le service boulangerie, pizzeria et restaurant sont excellent ! Nous avons été très bien accueilli, et avons passé un agréable séjour.
L'eau de la douche est bien chaude.

Liked: Super schöne Lage direkt am Meer.
Wir hatten freie Platzwahl.
Sehr netter Vermieter, der auch mit einer verspäteten Anreise kein Problem hatte.

Disliked: Sanitäre Anlagen sind leider in die Jahre gekommen und auch die Sauberkeit war nicht gegeben.

Local attractions

With direct access to lengthy Onival Beach from the pitches, you can soon be sand yachting, kitesurfing or messing about in dinghies. Try a spot of sea fishing from the shoreline, explore along the coastline on horseback (15 minutes’ drive), or have a peaceful wander along the seafront Sentier du Littoral Baie de Somme. Extend your walk atop the imposing Opal Coast chalk cliffs to the laid-back resort of Ault (half an hour’s walk), stopping off at the Notre-Dame d’Onival chapel (20 minutes) along the way to admire its ornate bell tower topped with gargoyles. The Bay of the Somme is renowned for its colony of harbour seals; you can sometimes spot them basking on the sand at low tide. Best places to see them? Pointe du Hourdel (25 minutes’ drive), Saint-Valery-sur-Somme (20 minutes) and Le Crotoy (35 minutes). Take binoculars to watch their antics, and always keep a respectful distance away. To hear more about local wildlife conservation, tour the interactive Maison de la Baie de Somme (20 minutes).

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
