Liked: Reception was great. Action after issues quick and effective. Our pitch was good. Washing and drying machines effective

Disliked: Whole site appeared crowded-statics etc very close. Facilities quite small. Unisex toilets and showers

Liked: We enjoyed our stay in one of the 3 eco-lodges, a tent equipped with beds and a kitchen, which was located down a quiet cul-de-sac with a handy shortcut making it close to all the amenities. The kitchen was well equipped for our self-catering meals and though the living space was small, there was a covered bench on the porch and a picnic table where we ate every day.

The site though a little crowded on first impression was well landscaped with trees providing shade and some lovely flowering plants and shrubs. We even had a squash plant on our pitch, and Dominique gave us one of the squashes to eat!

Celine and Dominique and the other staff were very friendly and Celine was very patient with my imperfect French, helping us out with information and solutions to some small problems.

Having arrived by public transport, we especially loved the free shuttle Navette minibuses which run like clockwork in July and August, linking the campsite to not only Les Moutiers, La Bernerie and Villeneuf and nearby beaches, but with a change of bus, also to Pornic and beyond.

All of us and especially our teenage son enjoyed the opportunity to go swimming in the pool.

Votre français n'était pas parfait mais suffisamment pour que l'on arrive à se comprendre et vous avez au moins le mérite d'essayer. C'est toujours un plaisir de communiquer avec des personnes d'autres nationalités. C'est très enrichissant.

Liked: What a friendly well run site. We were probably the only English family there but that didn't detract in any way as it made our stay feel like we were holidaying with the authentic French people. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and when our camper fridge failed super helpful.
The swimming pool was super clean and the whole site very well kept.
I'm not sure the family that runs the site could have worked harder.
The site is superbly situated for touring the beautiful area and the lively, pleasant town is an easy walk away.
All in all, a lovely site which I'm sure we will revisit. Thank you

Disliked: Maybe the only small criticism was that our plot was just big enough for the van and a 2.5 metre square awning but that was probably due to the fact we booked just weeks before we went as our son is joining the Royal Navy and we weren't sure when he'd be home
