What customers say

This campsite offers large, well-maintained pitches and friendly staff. Its excellent location is a short walk from Vittel town centre, park, and thermal baths. Many guests praised the clean facilities, with some highlighting the new pool and the availability of fresh bread and pizza. However, a few reviews mention untidy or dirty facilities, issues with pitch ground conditions, and a lack of on-site amenities for children. Some guests also experienced poor WiFi connectivity.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Met de ruime plekken. Voor alleen een plek met de camper of caravan is het prima.

Disliked Sanitair gebouw was vreselijk smerig. Dat was niet alleen van een paar dagen smerig, maar op de muurtjes in de douche zat schimmel.

Er staat op sommige dagen een eetkar. 2 salades, 1 klein pakje patat en een 1 hamburger kost het 48 euro.

Electric grass pitch

Liked The staff were friendly and made recommendations for places to eat/visit, which were very good.
We were told we could select any free pitch.
Bread could be ordered each day.
Vittel is nice to visit.
Many people stayed for just one night so this is clearly a stopover for people for onwards journeys.
Pool is new but small for size of the site in comparison to others we've stayed at.

Disliked The facilities were filthy throughout our stay. My husband stated there was faeces on floor of men's. The facilities had a dreadful sewerage smell for the full 4 days. It was unbearable so we didn't even shower on site.
Floors not cleaned throughout our stay and someone had left a plastic glove on the sink which remained there - it might still be there!
Some of the electric boxes are wrapped in tape.
The water tap near our pitch leaked/sprayed from a pipe joint for our full stay.
Hedges and grass etc need maintenance.
Food truck was there one evening but was expensive.
Our sleep was disturbed by motorbikes and roadworks.
The pool had debris at the bottom and was overlooked by those arriving and the neighbours.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Location was good for us, on way back to Calais. Town is short walk away, typical small French town centre. Pitch was large, shady which we needed as was baking hot.

Disliked It was just untidy / not clean as it should be. Toilets were less than clean. General unkempt site, could do with a right good clear up,

Electric grass pitch

Liked Pitch was nice and level. New pool was a welcome addition as we arrived on a very hot day and plunging in a cool pool was just amazing.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Excellent location. A short walk into the centre ville. Close to the park and thermal centre.

Friendly staff at reception.

Excellent pain au Chocolat etc. available to order.

Disliked Teenagers using the bathrooms to hang out in. A bit inconvenient when you need to use the facilities and they using facetime to call friends.

The bathrooms were pretty clean...but had an unpleasant smell.

No plus in the washing up sinks.

Electric grass pitch

Liked It’s a poor site, untidy and very dirty facilities. Pitch has a water hole covered in broken concrete which made it difficult to site.

Local attractions

Spas, beauty salons and general facilities of the pampering variety are about a kilometre and a half away at Vittel, where you can book sessions to treat a range of ailments, or just to treat yourself after a long day's hiking around the region. Away from the spas, dip into the Vittel museum if you want to learn more about the heritage and spa history of the town, or spend some time in the casino if your newly rejuvenated self is feeling somewhat fortunate. There are four golf courses in town too, as well as an Olympic pool, tennis courts, miniature golf, paintballing and treetop adventuring. For walks in the region, take the 10-kilometre 'crown trail' (Circuit 9) through the forest surrounding the nearby town of Gironcourt-sur-Vraine, or make for Relanges for the marked circular path through the village and forest. At Contrexéville, under 15 minutes' drive away, have more forest hikes around 15,000 woodland hectares, or venture over to the lakes for boating, fishing and free summer swimming. Domrémy-la-Pucelle, the birthplace of Joan of Arc, is 45 minutes' drive away. The Château de Haroué is within the same distance, in the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle.
