On land or on water, on site or in the surroundings, get ready to get busy at Camping Club l'Air Marin. Set in Languedoc-Roussillon's Vias Plage a kilometre from sandy Mediterranean beaches, this big and family-friendly site is also on the banks of the Canal du Midi, the 241-kilometre canal running from the Garonne river to the Étang de Thau on the Mediterranean. Fishing is available in the canal just by the site; a cycle route starts outside; Vias Plage has horse riding, go-karting, a theme park and watersports, and golf, snorkelling and a waterpark can be found five kilometres away at Cap d'Agde. Montpellier is a 30-kilometre drive away. Camping Club l'Air Marin welcomes families and couples, and has stacks of facilities set up for all ages, including an outdoor pool with slide, a paddling pool, heated indoor pool, tennis court, table tennis, multisports ground, pétanque court, gym and outdoor fitness area. A bar-restaurant, mini market and takeaway are open in summer. The site also has wifi throughout, a launderette with washing machine and tumble dryer, and washrooms designed for adults and kids. In high season, the kids' club runs activities and entertainment and the bar-restaurant puts on shows and events.

Liked: big pitches, Nice walk to the plage, camp a bit laid back, wifi good you have to pay for it though

Disliked: Camps is a bit dated to be honest,did not use any of the facilites so cannot comment on those, water taps are incompatible with hose pipes and are spaced out along the camp we had to use containers to top up. Piches not maintained very well and boggy in places, No grey water facilites and beware of Mozzies .

Liked: All fabulous .... Staff, restaurant staff, food, things to do ,, swimming pools, especially glass covered outside one.
Walkers and bikers paradise.

Disliked: Mixed toilets!!!
You have urinals both sides of you to get to a toilet cubicle. (And showers?)

Not nice for the men using them, not nice for me passing, and not nice for my 12 year old grandchild ... Had to use our own cramped facilities in the van . Not acceptable for a female teenager to witness.

Liked: Ce camping est une belle structure,
emplacement idéal entre la plage, le centre ville et le canal du Midi sur lequel nous avons pu faire une "petite croisière".

Disliked: Le BRUIT (de jour comme de nuit)
La sono de la piscine sature tellement le volume est élevé, sans compter le volume sonore identique du camping voisin. Serait ce un concours ???
Impossible de faire une sieste car les moteurs de vehicules diverses (jusqu'au tractopelle) sont constamment allumés.

Liked: Très beau camping bien placé.beaucoup d animations .respect des familles avec des horaires d animation raisonnable le soir.Tres bien entretenu au niveau des sanitaires.Tres belle espace piscine.Acces rapide à la plage et au centre ville

Liked: It was well organised
Great location
The pool staff did a thing at around 2 pm to stop people hogging sun loungers which is really good

Disliked: There were communal toilets so the basin to wash hands was right next to the urinals
We were pitched next to the shower block and was really noisy

Local attractions

This is a spectacularly set site, close to the golden sands of Vias Plage and right next to the Canal du Midi for fishing and canalside bike rides and walks. Watersports including paddleboarding and waterskiing are available in Vias Plage, along with horse riding, miniature golf, go-karting and the Europark theme park: see if your nerves can withstand the extreme rides and looping rollercoaster. At Cap d'Agde five kilometres away, you can dive into more watersports with a spot of snorkelling and scuba diving; tee off at the 18-hole golf course, or splash around the Aqualand waterpark, Europe's first. Animal-spotting options can be had at the Val d'Hérault Zoo in St Thibéry, 20 kilometres away, and at the African Reserve animal park, Sigean, a 25-kilometre drive from the site. The Mare Nostrum aquarium in Montpellier is 30 kilometres away. For some spectacular natural scenery, the Gorges de l'Hérault are within 45 kilometres.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Swimsuits are obligatory and swimming shorts or Bermuda shorts are not permitted.

If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. between 01/07 and 31/08.
