- 500 metres from Pont-Scorff and 15 minutes' drive from Lorient
- Covered and heated pool, huge play area, barbecues and guest kitchen
Try a stay here if you yearn for a peaceful Breton park with fresh air aplenty, scenic countryside surroundings and spotless amenities, all on a mightily friendly Morbihan site 10 minutes' drive from the beach.
Camping Ty Nénez has been hailed as 'exceptional' by previous guests, for its prettily and meticulously maintained grounds; helpful and amiable owners; handsome green setting and spacious well-kept grass accommodation areas. Its setting is pretty nifty too, just outside the riverside town of Pont-Scorff and 500 metres from the town's zoo, 15 minutes' drive from Lorient, and with several hiking trails and biking paths leading from the grounds. A regular bus route runs to the wide sandy beaches on this southern slice of Brittany coast.
Have a flick through the pics to see the myriad of other Morbihan options open to you for days on site, including a heated indoor pool, huge play area, pétanque court and loads of space for strolls and play. A snack bar is open in summer; communal barbecues, a smart picnic area and a food shop are all to hand, and campfires are allowed.
A guest kitchen with microwave, fridge and cooker is also on site.

Local attractions
Over 600 animals from 120 species are at Pont-Scorff zoo, a half-kilometre amble or cycle from the site along a traffic-free greenway. Hiking trails and bike rides leave from the grounds: ask the team for their tips on the best routes, on the local horse riding and fishing spots and on accessing canal and boat trips on the river from Pont-Scorff.
And then to Lorient, the sea port famed for its annual Festival interceltique de Lorient, held every August to celebrate Celtic culture and music. Five ports are around to investigate at other times of the year, including France's second biggest fishing port (after Boulogne-sur-Mer) at Kéroman, where catches come in every morning for the fish auction and then onto Lorient's fish market at Merville.
To tee off, the Golf Blue Green Val Queven course is five minutes' drive away.
