  • Dog-friendly site next to a beach on the Perharidy Peninsula
  • Walk to Roscoff in 40 minutes to take the ferry to Île de Batz
  • Shop, entertainment, kids’ club and sports on site
All aboard for stays and stopovers on the Brittany coast… dog-friendly Camping Paradis La Pointe de Roscoff is a four-hectare wildlife haven with direct access to a white-sand beach with turquoise water and granite boulders on North Finistère’s Perharidy Peninsula. Being on the waterfront has its perks: in the form of gentle sea swims and beach days as a family, couple or friends. There's plenty to do on site too, whether you want to start a friendly game of miniature golf, table tennis, volleyball or pétanque. There’s a kids’ playground, but perhaps you’ll be tempted by one of the family excursions to Île de Batz, île Callot, Louët island, Château du Taureau, Saint-Pol-de-Léon or Morlaix and its bay. What else is handy? Camping Paradis La Pointe de Roscoff has a small convenience store for any forgotten essentials. In the evening, the friendly team runs shows, concerts, dance evenings, karaoke, aperitif games and themed meals. Plus, the kids’ club organises activities like treasure hunts and creative workshops. Once per week during July and August, the site hosts a live performance from a celebrity with the opportunity to get an autograph. Named ‘Fiesta Boom Boom’, it finishes at 11pm.

What customers say

This campsite is praised for its superb location directly on a beautiful sandy beach, ideal for cycling to nearby towns like Roscoff. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the bar, with many finding it a convenient stop before the ferry. However, some reviews mention dated and poorly maintained toilet and shower facilities, with a significant number of toilets out of order. Pitches are sometimes described as small and cramped, and a lack of shade is noted as a potential issue.

Electric grass and earth pitch

Liked Right by lovely sandy beach. Safe and easy biking to Roscoff and St Pol de Leon, both nice towns.

Disliked Our pitch (10) was very good (hedges, in a corner) others were more open and close to each other, especially near the beach access.

Electric grass and earth pitch

Liked Beautiful view of the bay and surroundings when you got to the beach. Plenty of electricity points. Easy to see where we were located and plenty of room at the pitch

Disliked Lots of the toilets out of use.

I know its a beach campsite but theres very little shade and with global warming that will be problematic in the future.

Electric grass and earth pitch

Liked Proximity to the beach

Disliked The dated toilet block where half the toilets were mysteriously out of order and unlit at night. The even more dated and small shower block was dark and miserable. The check in process was chaotic and slow and the parking situation before the barrier was confusing and inadequate. It's fine for a night before the ferry, but that's it.

Electric grass and earth pitch

Liked It’s close to the beach.
Staff friendly , although gave us incorrect information.

Disliked There is nowhere to park with a trailer whilst queuing to book in at reception.
Be aware the tent pitches are VERY small. We had one of the larger pitches and struggled to fit our estate car, tent and small trailer ( for which we were charged an extra 5 euro per night) on the pitch. Most of the pitches would have been impossible.
Not possible to buy bread on a Sunday morning, even though we were told you could

Local attractions

Whether you’re hiking the GR34 around the Brittany coast or tracking down its many golden-sand beaches by car, Camping Paradis La Pointe De Roscoff is well placed for seaside breaks. There are over 20 beaches on Île de Batz alone (15 minutes’ ferry from Roscoff, which is 40 minutes’ walk or five minutes’ drive away). Accessible at low tide only, Île Callot (25 minutes’ drive) has yet more coves. Those of you who’d like to make your way out onto the water (and not by ferry this time) might want to head south from the site instead, as the Centre de Glisse de Santec (10 minutes) runs paddleboarding, surfing, kayaking and sand yachting. Perhaps you’ll want to set sail from Morlaix (25 minutes), a lively sailing location at the bottom of the Monts d'Arrée (note this down, hiking fans, as the mountains are under an hour’s drive away). Saint-Pol-de-Léon (10 minutes) is splendid too, especially for a day of sightseeing around the 13th-century cathedral and streets with half-timbered houses.
