  • Well-equipped Brittany static caravans on the edge of Pordic
  • Great base for the Côte du Goëlo and the Côte de Granit Rose
  • Easy access to the GR 34 walking trail and the D786 main road
To the Brittany coastline for two of its most scenic areas, Côte du Goëlo and the Côte de Granit Rose – Camping La Petite Ville is close to both these areas and their networks of footpaths, giving guests fantastic access to coastal walks, sandy beaches and quiet little coves. The surroundings may be wild and natural, but the park itself is well manicured and peaceful, with colourful flowers and mature trees around the static caravans. It’s also handily located just on the edge of Pordic, about 15 minutes’ walk from the town’s shops, bakeries and restaurants. Access to the town is pretty straightforward too, as the D786 runs just along its edge, linking it to various other towns along the coast and making for easy days out too. In fact, pretty much everything is designed to be nice and easy here. For starters, you’ll be staying in a well-equipped static caravan with its own kitchen (with fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster), a lounge area (with TV and fire) and bathroom. Disposable linen kits are available to buy on site and cooking equipment is already provided, so you won’t have to bring all that much kit with you. There’s also outdoor furniture and a barbecue to help you make the most of your alfresco time. A play area, pétanque court and games room provide a bit of extra entertainment for the kids, while everyday essentials are taken care of with a launderette, a wifi area and a bread/pastries delivery service (in July and August only).

Local attractions

There are lots of paths to follow for a nice walk nearby, with the most important one being the lengthy GR 34 (the Chemin des Douaniers), which runs along the full length of Brittany’s coastline. There are also three great circular trails running from Pordic into the countryside and up to the coast – ask on site for details of these routes, which range from 8 km to 15 km. Elsewhere along the coast, you might like to seek out beach days at places like Martin Plage (15 minutes’ drive), Plage du Valais (20 minutes) and many more – or board a boat from Pointe de l’Arcouest (55 minutes) for a day exploring the beaches, woods and gardens of Île-de-Bréhat. If you don’t mind a slightly longer journey you could also pay a visit to Mont Saint-Michel (an hour and a half). Heading inland instead, there are some lovely walks at Chaos du Gouët (half an hour), and you can explore the interior of Château de Quintin (35 minutes), which has several apartments dressed in 18th-century style. There’s also more recent history to learn about at Musée de la Résistance en Argoat (40 minutes).
