Good data on roaming. We didn't hook on to WiFi

Proximity to Normandy beaches but we didn't have time unfortunately

Disliked Not a dislike but they do like you to have checked in by 7 pm...can be tight if your ferry is delayed...we emailed ahead and they were happy to allow checking in up to 8 but absolutely no later and probably an exception as wasn't our fault...as they like to maintain peace and quiet in the evening which is fair enough

Regarding our check-in policy, you're absolutely right – we generally ask guests to arrive by 7 pm. This is to ensure a quiet and restful evening for everyone on site, as late arrivals can sometimes disrupt the calm atmosphere that many of our guests come here to enjoy. That said, we completely understand that travel delays – especially ferry crossings or unexpected traffic – can happen. In such cases, as you experienced, we always try to be flexible when notified in advance.

Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back next time you’re in Normandy – hopefully with more time to explore the beautiful beaches nearby!

Liked I appreciated the friendly welcome, helpful explanation, with brochures, about the local area and quick tour of the site facilities.
At the beginning of September the campsite was quiet and provided a good base for going out each day to visit the D Day sites.
Good, very clean, loos and hot showers.

Liked A really well-kept site with immaculately clean facilities – the owners clearly work very hard. We appreciated the friendly welcome, the hot unlimited showers, and the toilet roll and soap in the toilet block! The cupboard of board games to borrow is a nice touch.

Liked Absolutely lovely campsite! Owners were friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived. Facilities were just what we needed, toilets and showers clean and tidy. A very peaceful site and perfect for exploring Normandy. Will definitely return.

Liked Friendly and helpful owners. Clean facilities. Good sized pitches all with their own water. Tasty food at the snack bar and a nice selection of drinks. Nice outside games area. Peaceful relaxation garden area. Small lake for relaxation and fishing. Swimming pool. Baked goods available for order for breakfast.

Liked Ci è piaciuto essere in mezzo alla natura, la semplicità e genuinità. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la pulizia dei bagni e la disponibilità, simpatia di Delphine. That’s why we were a bit confused by your comment suggesting that the common areas need improvement. If you were referring to the sanitary facilities, please note that most of them are brand new, and we regularly receive positive feedback about both their condition and cleanliness. A small part of the facilities is indeed older, but still very clean and perfectly functional.

Unless your level of expectation is significantly higher than that of most of our guests, we believe the current setup strikes a good balance between comfort, simplicity, and authenticity.

This campsite is so well organised and run by the owners who keep all the facilities spotlessly clean. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. It’s also very conveniently situated for visiting Bayeux and the D Day landing beaches and memorials, which is a very moving experience.
We thoroughly recommend this wonderful campsite.!

Liked Søde, rare, venlige og hjælpsomme værter. Lånte os forlængerledning og stikdåse da vi ikke selv havde rette med.
Blev personligt vist rundt på pladsen og fik forevist vores plads samt parkering.
Pæne bade- og toiletforhold som var inkluderet i prisen. Mulighed for tøjvask.

Disliked Meget sumpet på vores plads grundet et regnvejr. Måtte nærmest sætte teltet helt ind i hækken.
