What a lot there is to do around this site – on land and water, of active and relaxed, for family days out or loved up romantic strolls... Peaceful, friendly and family-run Camping Les Acacias in the southern Landes region is two kilometres from a wide seven-kilometre expanse of sandy Atlantic coast beach for days' worth of watersports, dips, and lounging on the sands, all reachable via scenic cycle tracks via a pine forest (et oui, bike hire is available on site). It's also close to active and peaceful countryside days out: more long lengths of cycle paths snake around here, most around the nearby saltwater lake of Lake d'Albret where you'll be able to go sailing, swimming, boating and fishing as well as pedal peacefully alongside its shores. Les Acacias has set up a fair amount to do on site too, like a playground and a big sports ground, pétanque court, table tennis, fitness area and a games room. Morning activities are arranged for kids during high season. Takeaway is available to order several times a week, including moules-frites, pizza, roast chicken, burgers and local specialties. The site has free wifi.

Liked: Loved the clean facilities, super helpful and friendly staff, the food trucks, kids club and the big field for sport.Make sure you rent some bikes, there is a huge expanse of cycle networks that we used everyday to get to shops and beaches.

Liked: We received a very warm welcome at check in. Informative map, the pitch was great. Facilities impeccably clean and even family facilities with infant bath, full sized shower and toilet. Infant toilet in facilities. There are facilities for both men and women but during our stay they were shared, this was no issue. The toilet facilities were thoroughly cleaned daily, outdoor dish washing facilities, again, cleaned daily. Everything was so clean. Great play park. The staff were always cleaning, always maintaining. A little strawberry patch also growing which my son was intrigued with. The staff work tirelessly. Good laundry facilities at reasonable prices. A very peaceful park, I would recommend to anyone. Close to the town and beach by car / bike.

Admission

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Pitches

Pitches: a €15.00 (£12.49) deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure when returning the gate badge/barrier pass/toilet keys.
Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with the management. Please speak to reception when the need arises, a fee may be charged for unsupervised units.
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. between 09/07 and 31/08.
