Sea dogs and heady hikers, leisurely loungers and busy bikers – everyone’s well catered for at Lopari Camping Resort, a family-friendly site on Lošinj island, five minutes’ drive from the town of Osor on Cres and from the Lošinj fishing village Nerezine. The site covers 32 acres and accommodates a large number of guests, but you should never feel crowded thanks to its large pitch sizes. Each of them is located very close to the beach, so taking a quick dip is easy and convenient. If you are a windsurfing enthusiast, this area (Lopari) is an excellent spot to get on a board. The site fronts on to a pebble beach that’s nearly a kilometre long, so sunbathers, swimmers and windsurfers would do well to gravitate here – there’s even a surfing school on the beach for anyone who needs to brush up, and a slipway in Osor makes it easy to sail the Adriatic. The site also looks towards Osoršćica mountain, which should entice ramblers to clamber into the car for a 45-minute drive and a hike to its peak – the views over the Cres-Lošinj archipelago alone will make it worth the effort. (There's bike rental on site too, should a two-wheeled approach be preferable.) After busy days of waves and wanders, retreat to site to cool off in the shade, or opt for a (relatively) lazy day by not leaving the site at all… There’s plenty here to keep everyone occupied: kids can flit about the playground while the grownups find some peace during yoga or pilates, then everyone can rendezvous for soccer, volleyball, basketball or bowling. Hunger rearing during the day? Head along to the beach bar for a quick snack, pick up essentials in the grocery store for some self-catered eats, or make the most of stays by securing a table at the on-site restaurant.

Disliked: the sea is dirty but they are not to blame that is the beach, the new bathroom is nice the old one is broken and dirty, it's called a resort but it has nothing of a resort, supermarket with astronomical prices, restaurant with slow waiters and some unpleasant ones, bar of the very dirty beach

Zee was niet mooi ( troebel, weinig te zien)

Liked: Jestem bardzo zadowolona z pobytu w Lopari Camping Resort. Po pierwsze to miejsce gdzie można odpocząć od hałasu
i zgiełku miasta. Na ośrodku praktycznie o każdej porze dnia panuje cisza i spokój. Po drugie warunki sanitarne są naprawdę na wysokim poziomie. Toalety i prysznice są na bieżąco sprzątane. Poza tym na ośrodku znajduje się market bardzo dobrze zaopatrzony i restauracja. To miejsce, które na pewno warto polecić.

Local attractions

If island hopping appeals – and why wouldn’t it – this is the place to be. On the non-seafaring side, there’s a handy bridge to Cres making it less than five minutes’ drive to the adjoining island, but if more watery escapades beckon then boats from Mali Lošinj (25 minutes away) to Premuda, Susak and Ilovik can be caught. There are boats from Cres to Krk and to the mainland too, so far-ranging Croatian explores are a cinch. Boats off the island certainly aren’t the only reason to travel as far as Mali Lošinj either: the harbour town has a scenic promenade to stroll along, as well as palace museums, a perfumed garden and lots of restaurants. A little outside the town, half an hour from base, there’s the Čikat Aquapark waterpark, so cooling splashes are in easy reach. For days out in nature, make tracks for the far side of Cres, 15 minutes from the site, where the 550-hectare Mali Bok protected area is a mecca for twitchers (and has some pretty sandy beaches for everyone else). More of an urbanite? Head to the town of Cres, half an hour away, for its tower, museum and scenic harbour.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet (afternoon) hours must be respected between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m..
Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..
The grocery shop is open between 19/04 and 07/10.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
