For a spectacular location, lots to do and sheer convenience, Maslinica Resort Rabac - Camping Oliva surely has to be a top contender for Istrian camping holidays. Set within a large resort on a sheltered inlet of the Adriatic Sea with views to the Kvarner Islands, the site has lots of sporty stuff going on and loads of handy amenities to ensure that adults get a relaxing holiday as well as their kids. Well-maintained grass pitches sit neatly under the shade of olive trees, so you get to stay cool during the day, and all are handily equipped with electricity and water. Spotless bathroom facilities with hot showers are a short stroll away, there’s a launderette and washing-up area too, so everyone (and everything) can stay spick and span on site. Active families can play tennis and mini golf, and there’s a multipurpose field for football, basketball or volleyball challenges, while toddlers can wear off energy at the playground. With direct access from the campsite, Rabac Bay’s pebble beach and shallow waves also beckon with a floating aqua park just offshore, plus boat hire, dinghy sailing and paddleboarding within 15 minutes’ walk. You can also use the outdoor pool within the hotel complex for free, while the indoor pool and wellness spa are both open to campsite guests for an additional fee. Barbecues are allowed on site – there’s a small food shop for essentials – but if you’d rather dodge any cooking and give yourselves a real break from everyday chores, check out the resort’s terrace restaurants, pizzeria and bars overlooking the sea.

Zouden plaatsen die lager gelegen zijn dan de wegen op dd campjng moeten voorzue van kiezel/split.

Liked Je to mezi kopci, takže tam nefouká.
It's between the hills, so it's not windy there.

Disliked Sociální zázemí by chtělo opravit. Co se týče míst jsou vcelku velká, ale je to hlava na hlavě. Žádné soukromí. Místo trávy co byla uvedena máte všechno na blátě. Bazény znečištěné a nikdo se o ně příliš nestará. Za bazény se platí ještě zvlášť.

The social facilities would like to be repaired. As for the places, they are quite large, but it's head on head. No privacy. Instead of the grass that was mentioned, you have everything on mud. The pools are dirty and no one takes much care of them. You have to pay extra for the pools.

Liked Nothing , it was awful. We had booked 3 nights but only stayed 1 it was so bad.

Disliked We disliked how crowded it was. The resort was totally overwhelmed with the volume of people.
When we arrived the road was grid locked with motorhomes. The office was so crowded and understaffed that there was an extremely long wait though the staff themselves were working really hard to try to keep up.
The photo on pitch up is not a true reflection of the camp site and resort as there are also 3 large hotels sharing the small stony beach, which are not shown in the photo.
The pitches had no space between them. Most pitches had several tents, gazebos awnings, washing lines and cars on them, using every square inch available making it feel very oppressive, when you were in the middle of it all.
There was not much shade.
The pool water that you stepped in before entering the pool was filthy.
The bins were overflowing.
The drains near the toilet facilities were smelly and appeared to be blocked and over flowing.
There were lots of kids riding round on e scooters which was a hazard both to pedestrians and to drivers.
All in all it was not a nice experience.

Liked SAUBER! Genug Platz für Wohnwagen+Zelt+Auto !

Disliked Sehr enge Straße :zwei Waggons kommen da nicht aneinander vorbei.. Schaut euch meine Fotos an! Der Strand ist ca. 400 Meter lang, und tagsüber sind mindestens 1000 Leute da, wir waren im August, da ist fast kein Platz, schaut euch die Karte an, 3 fünfstöckige Hotels und unser Campingplatz für 400 Leute, wie ein Ameisenhaufen!
WLAN ist schwach!

Liked Great location, bathrooms always very clean and enough of them for the large camping. We loved the option to be able to use the hotel swimming pool when didn’t fancy swim in the sea. Everyone was quiet and respectful of others so got really good sleep. Market shop convenient to top up groceries. We ate at the beach pizza play every night. All dishes were lovely, quick and courteous service. Loved our stay and would love to come back next summer.

Disliked Not much to dislike, perhaps the size of the pitch could have been bigger, but we managed to squeeze underneath the olive trees which were rather lovely.

Disliked Ceny w sklepie średnio 100% wyższe niż normalnie. Młodzież biegająca po kempingu po 23 nie pozwalająca odpocząć. Zdarzało się rzucanie w namioty różnymi przedmiotami. Osoby jeżdżące bez świateł po zmroku na rowerach i hulajnogach.

Walkers and mountain bikers can soon be on the numerous hiking and cycling trails that wend their way along the coastline, or explore further afield on routes leading to waterfalls and clifftop fortresses in Učka Nature Park (20 minutes’ drive). If you’re looking for more high-impact pursuits, head straight for Istria Adventure (half an hour) to go off-roading through the rugged coastal landscape on quad bikes. Options for cultural days out with the kids include a scenic stroll around the Park Skulptura Dubrova (15 minutes), scattered with more than 70 contemporary installations by famed Croatian artists, and the chance to practise archery and cuddle friendly donkeys at Sanc Michael Medieval Theme Park (45 minutes). For some adult pottering time, the brightly coloured houses and winding cobbled streets of hilltop Labin (10 minutes’ drive) date from the Middle Ages. Poke around shops and art galleries, climb up to the ancient Fortica for views to Cres Island and Rabac Bay, or tour the Town Museum with its exhibits on the town’s former mining industry. Hit the town in July and August for the concerts, exhibitions and street-art events during the Labin Art Republic festival.
