Glamping in Camp Soline

- Dalmatian Coast safari tents five minutes’ walk from Soline Beach
- Biograd na Moru 20 minutes’ walk and Dalmaland five minutes’ drive
- Family site with a restaurant, kids’ club and sports facilities
If you’re looking for a family-friendly holiday next to a lively beach, it’s time to decamp to the Dalmatian Coast. The spacious safari tents at Glamping in Camp Soline sit on pretty Soline Bay, five minutes’ walk from popular Soline Beach and 20 minutes from the colourful waterside village of Biograd na Moru.
Shaded from the sun by pine and oak forest, each stylish tent has loads of open-plan living space so you can all stretch out without getting in each other’s way. Inside is a king-size bed in the master bedroom, a kids’ room with two sets of bunks and a modern bathroom with a shower.
Although there is a restaurant on site, you can prep family meals in the well-equipped kitchen and eat outside on the covered private decking, or on lazy evenings all gather around the Smart TV to watch your favourite films.
Even before you hit the beach, there’s bags to keep everyone occupied on site, ranging from live music at the weekend to organised entertainment at the kids’ club, and from exercise classes and swimming lessons to playing bučanje, the Croatian version of pétanque.

Local attractions
Rent pedalos, jet skis or paddleboards to explore the coastline from Soline Beach (five minutes’ walk), or play a couple of sets at the tennis courts adjacent to the glampsite. When you need a rest from all the sporty action, let the kids splash around on waterslides at Dalmaland (five minutes’ drive), then take a scenic stroll along the seafront to the waterfront cafés and bars of lively Biograd na Moru (20 minutes’ walk).
Alternatively, hire bikes from the campsite reception and follow cycling trails around Vransko Jezero Nature Park (25 minutes by bike), where you may get lucky enough to spot kingfishers, egrets and herons from waterside observation points. Alternatively, swap two wheels for four legs and enjoy horseback rides around the lake.
There are several national parks to explore too. Depart Biograd na Moru (90 minutes on a boat cruise with snorkelling stops) to visit the nautical paradise that is the Kornati archipelago, a protected landscape of islands, beaches and reefs. Head inland to the spectacular waterfalls at Krka (45 minutes’ drive), or go hiking in the pine forests and dramatic canyons of Paklenica National Park (50 minutes).
