Island hopping itineraries along the Dalmatia coastline should certainly include a break in Brač, and a seaside stay at the well-equipped Boutique Camping Bunja is another fine plan for the schedule. You’re in for a scenic time here – the peaceful site is in an old pine forest on the northern side of the island, with trees for shade and a bit of privacy, along with sea views that are easy on the eye (the soothing sounds of the waves are pretty good, too). Down on Babin Laz beach, just by the site, you can max out the laidback vibe with a massage, or dial up the effort with various watersports. And if you’ve brought your four-legged friend on your hols, they can practise their doggy paddle at the dog-friendly beach. Back at base, there’s an outdoor heated freshwater pool with sun loungers and parasols, and a playground to keep the kids occupied. Hunger pangs are taken care of in the on-site beach bar and eatery, which dishes up seafood, pizza and local specialities (alongside tasty cocktails and smoothies to wash it all down with). There’s also a small shop with fresh produce available daily. Other supplies can be picked up in Supetar (a 20-minute walk or a few minutes’ drive), which also has more bars and restaurants. Supetar's also the place to hop a ferry to Split, which takes 50 minutes.

Electric gravel pitch (comfort)

Liked: Views from all parts of the site were amazing, direct access to rocky beach to watch the sunset. Private beach or short walk to pebble beach. Campsite was very clean and tidy, all gravel surface so no mud or puddles. Facilities were all new and kept clean, good size laundry/dishwashing area plus large sheltered lounge.

Disliked: Road beside the site gets busy early in the morning, sometimes noisy. Also not safe to walk along but we found some nice tracks to walk .

Liked: Sauberkeit zu jeder Tageszeit, nach den Sanitäranlagen wird in regelmäßigen Abständen geschaut und bei Bedarf gereinigt. Zudem waren alle Mitarbeiter des Camps sehr freundlich! Die Lage ist absolut top und empfehlenswert wenn man fußfaul ist, den Strand erreicht man über mehrere Wege und Stege innerhalb weniger Minuten. Dort war es auch immer sauber und angenehm zu baden.

Local attractions

Take your pick of ways to get around: rent bikes on site and head out for explores of the island, or get ambitious with a hike on Vidova Gora (half an hour’s drive away), the highest peak of all the Croatian islands. For something a bit more leisurely, stick to seaside strolls along the rugged Adriatic coastline. If you’re up for some roaming on the water, rent a speedboat for an adrenaline spike, or opt for a more relaxed boat trip to take you island hopping. Kayaking around Brač’s bays and beaches is another fine choice. When it comes to the beaches, Zlatni Rat (45 minutes) on the southern coast is well worth a visit. It’s also known as the ‘Golden Horn’, as it’s shaped a bit like a tongue, and it’s a great spot for windsurfing. For foodie experiences, aim for the olive oil museum, Museum Uja (10 minutes), where you can learn about the traditional making process and taste some olive oil and tapenade; and Brižak (25 minutes), which offers tours and tastings of its traditional products, including wines, liqueurs, olive oils, syrups, cookies, jams and marmalades.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Unsupervised minors must have a letter of authorisation from their parents or legal guardian.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 10 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
