What customers say

This is a highly-rated, small, quiet campsite with a unique woodland setting. Reviewers praise the clean, well-maintained facilities, including powerful hot showers and a communal fridge/kettle area. Its close proximity to Pembroke town and castle is a significant advantage, with easy walking access. Friendly, helpful owners and thoughtful touches contribute to a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, making it a popular choice for repeat visits. Some minor points include potential noise from a nearby leisure centre and the occasional challenge with pitch levelling or unloading equipment.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (medium)

Liked What a hidden gem.we liked everything ,except having to leave. My partner had never been camping before and our dog unfortunately only has a few adventures left.
For them both i wanted somthing a bit more than a big open field ,surrounded by a 1000 other people being rowdy all night. This place ticked all the boxes and more. On arrival we were met by Adam who showed us around and where to pitch up. Incidentally Adam ,and Cath that we met later on in our stay are 2 of the friendliest and genuinely nice people ive had the pleasure of meeting.
From parking up you walk past the toilet block and over a little foot bridge and enter a well sculptured camping paradise. A wood chip path leads through the trees and tent pitches. A handful of small lodges can be found dotted around the outskirts.
There is a communial fire pit located at the entrance to the woodland walk. Within this communal area there is access to a kettle , fridge a plug if you need to charge a phone and wood to purchase if you want to use your own fire adjacent to your pitch.if you didnt bring one you can pay a small fee for everything you need (possibly bring firelighters and a lighter)
BBQs also permitted next to pitch which was another bonus, we ended up having one morning and night (sorry neighbours)
The woodland walk was a nice start to the day. Wake up listening to the wildlife, make a coffee then take a stroll through the woods before having a shower.
The shower was hot and powerful and the toilet block was clean. Here you can use the outside sinks for washing up plates etc and use the bins to dispose of rubbish. These wellfare facilities are a short walk away from any pitch which made a nice change.
This site is fantastic, there's nothing much else that needs to be said except a big thank you to Adam and Cath for having us ,and providing a beautiful peaceful area to stay. We're already looking at dates to squeeze in before end of season .

Disliked The onsite shower is more powerful than mine at home , now i need to upgrade :). Also , this place is too nice,i dont think il be able to stay anywhere else now.
Obviously these aren't real dislikes , but true statements.i actually prefer the site shower to mine.

Liked We had an amazing time here, it’s a lovely little campsite in a great location near to so many gorgeous walks and beaches. The amenities were always clean and well kept and we were welcomed by Adam who kindly showed us where everything was. Lots of cute dogs (and children).

Local attractions

Give your arms a workout (or simply sit back and let someone else do the hard work) at Pembroke Castle (20 minutes' walk), where you can hire rowing boats for outings on the boating lake. Also in the Pembroke area, you could learn more about the region’s maritime history at Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre (five minutes' drive) or inspect the medieval ruins of Lamphey Bishops' Palace (10 minutes). Keeping the kids entertained isn't going to be a problem in this family-friendly part of the world, whether you opt for the trampolines, pedalos, mini land rovers and paintball at Heatherton World of Adventure (15 minutes) or have set your sights on the exotic specimens on show at Manor Wildlife Park (15 minutes). For time by the coast, explore the Angle Peninsula (20 minutes), a peaceful Site of Special Scientific Interest that's dotted with World War II defences, or head to the popular beaches around Tenby (20 minutes) for some time sprawled out on the sand. The small city of St Davids (45 minutes) is a must too and is surrounded by tiny coves and pretty natural harbours.
