Non-electric grass tent pitch (solo)
Liked: Nice site, very quiet but still outside main tent camping season. Lovely space next to river with walks straight from site. Clean facilities and warm showers.
Disliked: On Pitchup it states that the tent pitches are maximum 2mx2m so I ended up booking a double pitch (as advised on the Pitchup website) for my 2mx4m tent. This wasn't necessary apparently but a fault of the booking site. Worth checking with actual campsite when booking.

Liked: Changed us to hard standing pitch because of bad weather, really nice grounds.
Disliked: No signs for reception to check in, then all vans very close to each other. Shower facilities could do with updating.

Liked: Peaceful site with flat pitches beside a small river. Toilet block clean with plenty of toilets and showers. Individual cubicles for basins was a nice touch. Hotel/bar also on the site so all their facilities are available.
Disliked: Phone signal and WiFi poor where I was pitched

Bell tent
Liked: The park was exceptionally clean and the staff polite and attentive with good knowledge of the local area. We stayed in the bell tent which come with electric hook up but unfurnished ( just bring all your essentials leave the tent at home) The tent was spacious and clean on arrival. A firepit was supplied with plenty of wood and paper too ensure a decent night sat next too a camp fire. A river runs through the site with plenty of of area too paddle and wild swim. Shower facilties were pristine with plenty of hot water and are spacious. A amazing 18 hole adventure golf course is also on site with a games room and mini bowling alley, pool table amd board games in the main building which has a lovely bar amd serves beautiful food. We enjoyed the 2 days away we booked so much we have provisionally booked again for next year. We will definitely be returning. The kids had lots of fun in the river and playing bowling and the golf. Beach 10 mins drive was amazing with a local village with some lovely little cafes that although a bit pricey are beautiful and the food exceptional. And most dog friendly which is a bonus
Just a little mention although it didn't matter too us the signal on your phone is very limited in places on the site. But it does have free WiFi.

Liked: Driving into the manor was a joy as well kept attractive place. The surroundings were peaceful and serene. Great location to explore beautiful beaches and coves. Staff in the restaurant seemed friendly, facilities clean and tidy. Camping area level and very calming next to the brook. Kids felt safe to.
Disliked: Camping area overshadowed by trees so in the evening it felt a bit cold sat outside. Opposite camping area the sited caravans got all the lovely evening sunshine lucky for them. Obviously this is no fault of the owners but maybe worth considering if you like the evening sunshine 😊

Liked: So peaceful. Great for hiking , but we didn't do that much this time. Loved dipping our toes in the river. Maybe one part could be made more accessible so us older aged ladies can enjoy it more... Toilet and shower blocks all lovely.

Bell tent
Liked: Lovely setting within a mile of the picturesque town of Newport, Pembs.
Spotlessly clean facilities.
PLenty of space in the grounds of Llwyngwair manor for the children to walk and cycle.
A well maintained playground and mini golf course and additional fun activities within the manor itself, including a small ten pin bowling lane. PLenty to keep all ages occupied.
Disliked: My wi-fi signal was non-existent (O2!)
