If you’re on the hunt for a premium Pembrokeshire camping experience, take a look at Ty Parke Farm Campsite – there’s heaps of space at this eco-conscious campsite, but the owners always make sure to keep guest numbers low so you’ll always be able to expect lots of peace and a chilled-out vibe here.
Keeping a cap on numbers means that pitches here are huge – so you’ll be able to bring along whatever outdoor furniture, awnings and other bits you like to get yours set up just as you want it. A picnic bench, campfire pit and barbecue grill are provided for each one, so getting outdoor meals sorted should be a cinch. Even easier are meals on pizza nights, held weekly in the school holidays with chef Gary firing up the wood-fired oven for tasty alfresco treats.
Shared facilities have been nicely thought through here, with guests having access to toilets, showers, a laundry room and a washing-up area as well as being able to buy firewood (for a small charge) for the firepit. A communal indoor room is available for dining or relaxing on less clement days, while on finer ones you may like to explore the two-kilometre nature trail around the farm.
And what about when you’re getting out and about? Well, you’ll be in an excellent spot for lots of Pembrokeshire’s top attractions – not least its gorgeous coastline, which is about 10 minutes’ drive away (either north or south) for beach days, surf lessons or coast path walks. There are lots of options around for inland walks too, and the historic city of St Davids is 20 minutes’ drive away.
