Non-electric grass and earth campervan pitch
Liked: Lovely big space so we had our own corner. There were other campers there and everyone was so friendly and was so peaceful and quiet. We went for a little walk around the campsite in the morning which was so fresh. Toilets and showers were so clean. We met the owner too who was the nicest man ever!! We loved our stay here.
Disliked: Was a bit tricky to find but got there in the end!

Non-electric grass and earth campervan pitch
Liked: The strengths of this site are that it is very quiet and rural with rustic, clean showers and toilets. The pitches are fairly level and sheltered , unlike sites closer to the coastline.
The site owner was always available and very helpful.
Don’t be put off by the entrance to the site, it only adds to its appeal.

Cwtch Corner bell tent (no pets, private bathroom amenities)
Liked: Special place, very private with large tent, roofed kitchen area and toilet. Enough bedding provided. Nice warm shower. There is a fire pit and logs were provided. Very nice welcome by owner. Great for watching the stars. Back to nature.
Disliked: To get to the camp site you have to cross the neighboring land which holds some old buildings. Not the best first impression but don’t let that put you off. You are on your right way.

Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked: Fantastic atmosphere, the host was great and brilliant facilities, clean and tidy. Great location very peaceful. Loved it
Disliked: Only thing is need a better sign at the main gate, also a campsite map would be good either on the second gate or on the toilets or big shed so people have a clear view of where they can go/need to go. Otherwise fantastic

Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked: Follow the directions to the site on Pitchup – on left immediately before a 4-way junction! Can be a bit concealed at twilight but once through the gate and past the slightly ‘direct’ warning signs from the neighbouring farmer about Sheep and Dogs you will enter the site proper.
Absolutely a hidden gem – just 2 km from the beautiful fishing village of Little Haven, close to the Coast Path but set-back and sheltered by mature hedge rows and naturally broken into a number of different spots to pitch.
The owner is completely unique, friendly and has totally mastered the art of great ‘great customer service’. Nothing ever seems too much trouble, even helping us to pitch our tent as we arrived after dark – due to traffic. Firepits are available (£5) as is wood (£5)
The site…. this is no mowed field…… instead you will have choice of a central paddock close to the washing/toilets/showers or, to the left a smaller paddock is also available – though a slight slope at the top end. Optionally there are other more private spots available near to the central pond.
In addition to regular camping there is shepherds hut and bell tent available in their own space for a great glamping experience with separate kitchens, fire pits and outside space . The Bell Tent has an adjoining shower and toilet.
Facilities have been described on this site as basic….. but, they are cleaned regularly and spotless - the showers are piping hot with great water pressure !
Loved it - as did the teenage children

Liked: Amazing host who went above and beyond ! We were greeted with warmth and Andrew pointed us in the right direction of stunning beaches and local “must see’s”. I can’t wait to come back! Would highly recommend. It would be hard not to enjoy this site, its host and the surrounding areas. 10 points for a lovely warm shower :)
