  • Peaceful Monmouthshire farm site with views of Brecon Beacons peaks
  • A five-minute drive to Raglan; 15 minutes to Monmouth
  • Five minutes' drive from a farm park
Those visions you have of waking up in the morning and looking out to see some spectacular scenery? Parc Y Deri Farm is a place that can certainly provide… At this Monmouthshire site, you’ll be greeted with views of the Sugar Loaf and Skirrid, with the Brecon Beacons forming a rather gorgeous backdrop. The rural site is a five-minute drive from Raglan (and the A40) so you’ll be assured of plenty of space while gazing up at the scenery. And plenty of peace, too – it's part of a family-run sheep and poultry farm so the majority of your neighbours are farm animals going about their daily business. Making the most of your setting should be pretty straightforward, whether you’re planning a gentle wander around the local farm park and Raglan Castle or setting off to the Brecon Beacons to get a closer look at the peaks. Pick up any supplies in Raglan (five minutes' drive) or Monmouth (15 minutes).

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked One of the best campsites, if not the best we have stayed on.
We stayed on the campsite for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend and just wished we could stay for longer.
Dave and Charlotte were so welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. They also have a little pop up shop, open 24hrs a day that sells local ice cream, honey, snacks & cold drinks. Even a separate fridge for campers to use and put all of their food and drinks in!
Dave also puts bags of logs in there so that we could have campfires!
It was also a really pleasant surprise that when we arrived, there was a huge sunflower patch, where after our stay, we took a few of the sunflowers home with us.
All facilities looked after, with new toilet rolls stocked everyday and showers/toilets mopped.

Thankyou so much, we will definitely be visiting again!

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Such a beautiful site. Spacious pitches. Owners are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Very relaxed with no times set to be off your pitch. Great little shop on site selling firewood, honey, eggs as well as cold drinks sweets and biscuits. Not forgetting marshmallows for the camp fire. There is also a fridge if you need it. We will definitely be returning.

Liked The stay was amazing , the owner Dave was so kind and said hello to everyone in the morning making all feel welcome. There was good facilities and beautiful scenery(sunflowers especially). there were not strict rules so we felt like we could relax and the little shop they had on site added to the experience we had farm fresh eggs each morning and Dave even got us the supplies (that we forgot🙄) to make a morning coffee. Me and my group will definitely be going there again! :) :)

Local attractions

If you’ve brought the kids along (or just fancy cooing over cute animals), head to Raglan Farm Park (five minutes’ drive) to take tractor rides and bottle feed lambs. While you’re in town, stop by at Raglan Castle to see a grand structure dating back to the 15th century. Scenic strolls and scrambles galore await over in the Brecon Beacons National Park (20 minutes). This gorgeous area of hills, mountains and waterfalls can cater for all styles of walker from those looking for simple circular routes to folk who fancy more challenging uphill ascents. There are other options too, like watersports at Llangorse Lake (45 minutes) and gentle pottering in the likes of Crickhowell (25 minutes). Turn east instead and more stunning scenery awaits: this is where the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty lies. Head to Symonds Yat (20 minutes) to hire canoes to paddle down the river or head to the Forest of Dean for its sculpture trail and Puzzlewood (both half an hour).
