Stream Side non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Back again for a second year in a row. Busier this time but still fine. Due to the nature of the site this made finding a flat spot difficult however as always everyone on site was friendly also pitching close to them was not an issue. Loved the coffee on arrival after a long walk to site.
Disliked: Toilet block seems to be deteriating more. Gent urinals leak onto the floor. Could do with a small amount of tpc to fix this issue with an otherwise perfect campsite for a walker/solo camper

Reservoir View non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Great campsite in an amazing location with beautiful views of the hills and reservoirs. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Toilet and shower facilities worked well and kept clean. Fire pits provided and wood sold at reception made it so easy to have a fire in the evening to sit round. Would really recommend as a place to stay if you want to explore the Brecon Beacons.

The surroundings are beautiful.
The facilities are clean.
Disliked: I travelled in March so obviously quiet but this place is in the middle of nowhere and all the staff leave the centre at 5-6pm. It was a scary place to be if you are a lone female traveller, tbh the only other camper (a lone male) also felt a bit abandoned. It’s a bit vulnerable and the reason i booked a campsite as a lone female camper was so that i felt safe, i didn’t here I’m afraid. Maybe consider actually locking the gates to the road or having a night porter ?
