It suited what I needed for…
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch (solo)
Liked It suited what I needed for a campsite . Level pitches friendly welcome. And was given a weather warning for torrential downpours in the early hours of the Tuesday morning which was helpful to place my clothes in the car so they didn’t get wet 😎

Beautiful and well-taken care of campsite with lovely owners
Meadow Field non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked We camped for 3 nights and absolutely loved our stay there. The campsite is pretty big, and as it wasn't too busy on that weekend, we had a lot of space for ourselves, which was great.
The area is also very quiet (you can occasionally hear some cars), so we really enjoyed lighting up a fire and looking at all the stars at night in silence! It really made us feel very close to nature, which is exactly what we wanted.
The owners were very friendly and helpful. Their house is inside the campsite, so they were always close if we needed anything.
The toilets and shower were also very clean at all times, which shows that the owners take really good care of their facilities.
Disliked It's not a complaint, and it didn't really cause us any issues during our stay, but just be mindful that there is only one shower at the campsite. So, if you're a family, it might be best to shower outside of peak times to avoid waiting a little bit.
Other than that, it really didn't cause us any issues. The shower was always clean and with loads of hot water.

Superb location great value for money wild camping with an upgrade!
Church Field non-electric grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (maximum 6 metres)
Liked Accommodating owners, Jen and Caroline, very spacious area (church field) love the fact they don’t try to cram people in. Hot shower and clean facilities. This is a “luxury” upgrade to wild camping in an amazing location.
Disliked People that don’t read reviews/website and complain about it being what it says it is! Eco wild camping….

Not for families. Poor facilities. Poor value.
Church Field non-electric grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (maximum 6 metres)
Liked The location on the Beacons Way, close to two pubs, one of which serves excellent food. Level field.
Disliked I don't think this site is suitable for families. Facilities: one composting toilet in an old horse box with very high steps to the 'throne', and a cold 'non-potable' water tap. 400 metres up the hill is one flushing loo, a cold water sink and a good but expensive (£1 for 4 mins) shower. The field was unmowed (grass 8" high). Quite noisy during the day due to road traffic. Rubbish including dog poo has to be taken home.Very poor value at £28 per night for two persons.

Beautiful site with very friendly owner.…
Meadow Field non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Beautiful site with very friendly owner. Lovely dark skies if you want to do some stargazing. There are designated areas for campfires if that is something you would like to do. There are eco toilets at the site or, if you want to have a shower of normal toilet you can walk up to the farmhouse. We loved our visit and would love to go back again.
