Cae Cynffig Camping is in the beautiful and ancient village of Kenfig. The fields lead down to Kenfig Pool which is famous for it's outstanding natural beauty. Just a 20 minute walk along the sand dunes and you are at Sker Beach. The fields adjacent to the campsite have Welsh mountain ponies, a shetland pony and a flock of sheep. There is a Cafe 'The Hyde Out' just a 5 minute walk from the site which offers barista coffee among other beverages aswell as cakes and sandwiches. There is also a wonderful pub just 500 metres from site, The Prince of Wales Inn where you can enjoy wonderful food and drink. The reserve is an Area of Special Conservation, home to one of the largest series of species-rich dune slacks in Wales, dominated by a variety of rare plants and animals.
