Liked: Easy to find, hard standing, cheap
Disliked: Shower desperately needs updating!

From the manager: Absolutely, I'm in the process of arranging a new shower block but obviously- the price will increase with that investment. Most people understand the price reflects the facilities. The water is hot tho!
Had a wonderful time. Thanks Marie.

Liked: Loved being in the woods with my dog camping. Marie was fantastic, a real wholesome Welsh lady, super friendly and helpful, she lent me a power bank, came around every afternoon to see if all was ok, with firewood etc. Magda park is a three hundred yard walk from the campsite, it is beautiful, really worth exploring. Port Talbot has a great industrial history, sadly not so now, but I met some great people and learnt so much from the Talbot family to how it developed into a steel manufacturing town. Gower peninsula is stunning, there is loads to see there.
Disliked: Nothing really. It is rustic and rural. For£12 a night it’s perfect.

Burton camping pod (pet friendly)
Liked: Fell in love with this little gem as soon as we arrived. Our pod was in the woods and it had everything we needed in the pod with an added bonus of a tarp and hammock. The view from our pod was stunning even when raining! Our host was lovely and I enjoyed having a chat with her. A peaceful camp with a beautiful old woods to explore as well as a deer park a short walk away. We will most definitely be staying here again! Thank you ☺️

Miss Talbot camping pod
Liked: We loved it here, it was so peaceful, lovely views and plenty of walks. The pod was clean and spacious with a comfortable double bed. Tea and coffee with a kettle was supplied and also a small gas stove. Firepit was supplied and you could buy the logs on site for £5, with plenty of seating outside the pod. There were portable toilets but also a toilet and shower block which were clean and tidy. Excellent value for money and the owners were very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed, will definetely visit again.
Disliked: Shops etc close by but around 15 mins away

Miss Talbot camping pod
Liked: What a fantastic little place this was. A lovely little set up and the host was lovely and friendly. Very accommodating also. We had a wonderful time. The children and already asking to come back.
The wasn’t any reception but personally I enjoyed that nobody could get hold of us and the children out their iPads away and enjoyed the outdoors.

Liked: Very welcoming and helpful upon arrival .. very relaxing stay suited our needs, never used any facilities as we are self sufficient other than needing some water as we couldn't figure out how to use our water pump as 1st time out in our new van for more than a night. Would recommend as lovely quiet place with all we needed
Disliked: The fact we bought 2 bags of wood and didn't get to use it because of the weather but the 2 tents next door to us felt it was appropriate to use the wood we bought to keep their fire burning without having the decency to ask so paid £10 for wood we didn't get to use .. I would have given it freely if they had asked but I don't like stealing ..its just plain wrong in my eyes buy your own wood! No need to steel
