Heritage Coast Campsite

Liked Facilities and proximity to the sea.

Disliked Our pitch was at far end of the second field. This was quite a distance from the facilities which I struggled with as I am disabled with mobility problems. The owner was lovely and very understanding. I would definitely stay again but next time stress the need for being closer to the showers, toilets etc

Liked Nice pitch, it is now an adults only site so was very peaceful and friendly.
Lovely walks from the site, explained in detail by the owner.
Cute little bar on site at weekends or busy days to chat to fellow campers or a lovely Pub/ restaurant 5 mins walk away. What more could you want?

Disliked Narrow roads on the approach but in this area of Wales that seems to be the norm. We were in VW van and managed ok - just need to take it slow!

Liked Lovely site and beautiful setting. Toilets and showers kept clean. Owners really friendly and helpful.

Nice walk down to beach but stiles to climb on way down and rocky start of beach. Beach is beautiful and empty, check tide times to make the most of it.

Also local shop (30 mins walk) and cafe..but cafe only opens certain days at moment so check first.

Liked Fantastic site

Liked My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights just to have a good old catch up and some fresh air. When reading the description it suited our needs perfectly and it exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival we were met by Phillipa who warmly welcomed us and showed us around, offering maps for walks and informing us of the cafe/bar opening times. The pitches are clean, toilet and shower facilities are also super clean. We did the circular route to the lighthouse and upon arriving back sat for a bottle of wine in the sun at their little cafe. Phillipa and her husband joined us and soon they made us and other campers that where there feel like old friends. Well behaved dogs are welcome also. Electric hookup, firepit, washing up room and water taps available. We even had food from the local Mezze picked up for us by the wonderful lady that works there. Above and beyond service from all at Heritage Coast which means the girls will be back even if just for a drink in the sun.

Disliked We had to come home!!!

Liked This is a really well cared for campsite, run by lovely caring people in a fantastic location. Really knowledgeable about things to do and the site has everything you need

Liked Philippa and Glynn were lovely, generous hosts who made us and our hound feel extremely welcome. Good facilities - from the pitches to the shores & toilets. Dave does a top top job of keeping everything clean & tidy. Really good beer and ciders available at Teddys bar and the breakfast baguettes were very tasty. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality- we will definite be back. PS thank you for sorting the towels!😉😀
