Owed a countryside break with lots of outdoor activities to hand? Care for a bit of luxury when you’re away? If you answer ‘yes’ to both questions, speed ye to family-run Bryn Glamping, 10 minutes’ drive from Bridgend in Glamorgan, where you can settle into luxuriously kitted-out wooden pods and then run around on treetop ropes courses, play golf or go mountain biking, all within about half an hour by car. Set in peaceful Welsh countryside, the glamping pods are easy to get to as well, being 10 minutes by car from Junction 35 of the M4. Each has underfloor heating, sleeps up to four people and is fully ensuite, with a welcome pack of essentials in the kitchen corner and a smart TV for chilled evenings on the cosy sofa (you’ll be needing some downtime after all that running around). Outside there’s a wrap-around seating area and private woodfired hot tub, all ready for you to jump into when you arrive. If you get lucky and catch a clear night, cosy up in the tub to contemplate the starry skies far above you. When you fancy a night out, there’s a community pub in Coychurch (five minutes’ drive), recommended for its well-kept ales and friendly staff. Not keen on getting in the car again? A whole range of takeaways are just a phone call away.

Liked: Very clean

20 mins drive from Newton Bay Beach.
Less than one hour drive to Breacon Beacon and The Four Falls if you are interested to visit.
We arrived there and the hot tub was just waiting for us, nice and hot. The kids loved it!!!
Huw (the owner) met us and went through everything with us, he's a very nice, helpful man.
The place was very clean, milk (very handy for our morning coffee as we didn't even think of it 🤭 ooops) and cold water in the fridge for us.
The place is got everything you need...just get there and enjoy yourself.
And last but not least...the donkeys 🥰🥰 they are the sweetest ❤️
Lots of parking spaces and very quiet area.
