Excellent site
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Absolutely cracking campsite credit to the owners, very friendly and helpful on arrival.
Very clean throughout, amazing showers.
Ideal for a base or just to relax
Liked the added extra of being able to use microwave as we went non electric.
On a clear night the sky is full of stars it was beautiful.
Would definitely go back again.
Disliked Rubble going to the porta toilets on the non electric field can be a hazed under foot but I think it’s all new and still in the process just be careful if you have a few cheeky sherbets.

Nice site but ..............
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Very friendly owners, lovely views and clean showers and toilets
Disliked Unfortunately there was a mix up with our booking and the pitch we were allocated had a tent pitched on it! The owner was very apolgetic and refunded over half of our fee but the pitch we were given was one used by a friend of theirs who had to move off for us. They moved up to the farm and were perched overlooking us so felt very intrusive. There was also a kids "fun day" going on which we didn't know about so the noise level was off the scale from the bouncy castle and other inflatables so no chance to sit outside for an evening meal.
If we had known about this we would have stayed elsewhere.
Every pitch seemed to be crammed full with extra tents, gazebos, pup tents etc so felt very packed with no privacy between pitches so felt a bit claustrphobic.

Lovely site, lovely owners, great facilities
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The site is very attractive and the owners were very helpful and welcoming, the toilet and shower block and utility kitchen are excellent, very modern, immaculately clean and warm, a nice touch was the music! Very helpful having a kettle and microwave as I was only staying one night and didn’t have all the gear. I was staying on my own and felt really safe, lots of family groups around, a nice atmosphere but very peaceful.
Disliked What’s not to like!
