  • Spacious site a short drive from Eryri/Snowdonia National Park
  • Within easy reach of beaches, watersports and a mountain railway
  • Barbecues welcome and several supermarkets within easy reach
Seeking a sojourn within easy reach of the smashingly spectacular Eryri/Snowdonia National Park? Close to several splendid beaches and within easy reach by car or bike from several towns for foodie spots and cosy pubs? Treborth Hall Farm Caravan Site should, then, tick off a fair few of your Welsh holiday boxes. This peaceful walled park is a 20-minute walk from the Anglesey Isle town of Menai Bridge, home to several traditional pubs and other eateries for off-site sips and scoffs. You can be in Bangor on your bike in 15 minutes too, or hop in the car and be there in less than 10; highly beau Beaumaris is bikeable too – reach it in a little over half an hour on two wheels, or be there in half the time on four. When it comes to stuff for kids to do, they’ve got reams of room to roam freely around, plus a play area too should they require fun structures to clamber on; for a spot of gentle grownup activity, there's a public footpath just outside that forms a loop connecting to the Wales Coast Path, which in turn provides access to Treborth Botanic Garden. For food on site you’re more than welcome to get a barbecue going – several supermarkets are within easy reach around the nearby towns for all your sizzling supplies, and there are also lots of pubs, restaurants and takeaways too. Among the on-site amenities are toilets and two shower blocks with coin-operated showers with plenty of piping-hot water.

Non-electric grass touring pitch

Liked: Very clean facilities. Easy walk into Menai where we had booked a meal at Dylan’s. The site was nice and quite and despite the bad weather overnight the grass pitches were fine

Disliked: It would have been helpful to have had the code for the entrance barrier included in booking email. It took a few tries to connect to the owners number.
The office was closed and it would have been helpful to have a bit more info about the facilities. We didn’t feel hugely welcomed, it was a very hands off process from making the booking to arrival check in.

Electric hardstanding pitch

Liked: Location was great, just a short walk across the Menai Bridge to the lovely Anglesey village of Porthaethwy and it's great selection of pubs and restaurants.

Disliked: The showers are on a 5 minute timer, which you have to press before you enter the cubicle. If it runs out you have to leave the cubicle to press it again.

Only two showers and two toilets for the whole site, so regular cleaning is essential.

It's not possible to attach a hose to the fresh water tap, so you have to top up water with a watering can!

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Lovely area, close for exploring Anglesey and surrounding areas.
Quiet site, dog friendly with a dog walk on site.

Disliked: Toilets on the top field not the best, lacking in loo roll and the loos didn't flush every time. But you can use the toilet facilities near reception which were much nicer.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: How helpful and friendly the staff are and how other campers and the residential caravan owners make you feel welcome.

We booked to stay one night as we were doing the (relay for life) so booked an electric hook up pitch, we thought it was that peaceful we booked to stay on another night.

I would highly recommend this place to any one who is looking for a peaceful place to pitch up.

The Daughter who is her mother’s Twin was very helpful with the information she provided us in regards to us putting a caravan on there in the future. She is a credit to the business and the site.

They also have a little cute bird called sammy in the office make sure you say hello to her too.

Thanks guys see you again soon.

Ps. I have no photos to upload as this place is a place to take in and enjoy leave the phone off and enjoy.

Disliked: There is nothing to dislike other than I wish we could spend more time there.
