Non-electric grass pitch
Liked: Location is amazing, close to Llandudno, Conwy, Rhyll. Loved being able to see the cows and horse.
Disliked: Field very uneven, not really mown and very wet underfoot when we arrived. Difficult to find a place dry enough and flat enough to pitch the tent. We did find somewhere pretty close to other campers. Rain continued all weekend and field got wetter. Mud got worse, cars were churning the field by driving up and down to the toilet block rather than walking the few hundred meters up the farm track to the toilets. Many Campers were not considerate of others, playing music and large loud gatherings until late. Female toilets were as clean as could be with the amount of mud but male toilets were always dirty, probably due to the amount of unsupervised kids that kept going up and down to the toilet block. Toilet block dated but functional. Could be an amazing site due to its location but something needs to be done about the amount of flooding the field has during wet weather and campsite rules need reinforcing more.

Liked: Really nice campsite, clean toilets and nice shower block. Some nice walks and only a 10 minute drive into Llandudno. Went as a group of 19 with kids. Kids loved playing and could be free. Dog friendly and clean field for the amount of people staying it was well kept
Disliked: Only issue was one noisey group up until nearly 2am music blasting and shouting. To be fair staff came and told them to quieten down a few times not the campsites fault just inconsiderate group of people as the campsite was full and everyone quietened down at 11.

Liked: Leaving
Disliked: On arrival we were told the field looked a bit wet but we’d be fine in our motorhome - so we drove down to the field and it was apparent straight away that it wasn’t ok, it was muddy and boggy, so we parked on the edge to sit and think about what to do. Moments later we witnessed another motorhome get stuck and the owners had to tow them out with their Land Rover. So we saw another field opening up and moved there which was much drier. It proceeded to get very busy, which was understandable as it was a bank holiday weekend and we ended up with someone pitching their tent right outside our door - who proceeded to make a lot of noise drinking, talking and laughing loudly until the owner came to tell them off at 12.30 am - once they left, the group carried on until 2.30 am - it was disappointing the sites rules of being quiet from 11pm weren’t upheld. After just 4 hours sleep we had to leave early for the day but came back later on to find the fields were so jam packed there was no room left for us at all - so we just had to leave and loose out on a nights stay we had paid for - which was a blessing in disguise! The fields had clearly been oversold and in boggy conditions it just wasn’t working especially for those in motorhomes.

Liked: Great location for getting into llandudno, bus stop at end of the farm lane Staff very friendly and helpful, warm welcome even though we arrived late due to traffic. Toilets clean and well stocked with paper even on BH. Showers nice and warm. Pizza van was there on Friday till late although we didn't use it, it looked very busy and popular Ice cream van came round on Saturday evening No real restrictions to pitch size in the grass pitch area
Disliked: Grass pitch wouldn't have been suitable for campervan if it was wet (one night of rain and wheel spinning when we left) Not the campsites fault but lots of families setting up "tent villages" and letting their kids run right through our awning area, football repeatedly kicked at/around our van too.
