  • Peaceful caravan park 15 minutes’ drive from Abergele in North Wales
  • Wales Coast Path 15 minutes’ drive; Eryri National Park 40 minutes
  • Rural setting with fishing on the River Elwy; bar on weekend nights
Surrounded by greenery and gently undulating hills, Caeran Caravan Park is an oh-so-relaxing holiday park 15 minutes’ drive from Abergele in North Wales. Its rural setting on the banks of the River Elwy, which is straddled by an ancient stone bridge, is both peaceful and happily safe for families. Anyone with a love of the outdoors will grab the chance to fish for trout on the river (there’s private access) and take long country walks – the park is pet-friendly, so your dogs can join your strolls too. And there’s much more going on, too. There’s a play area with a sand pit, an indoor games room and a bowling green, plus a picnic area in the landscaped grounds. Drinks are taken care of on the park, in the shape of a bar (open on Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday nights only) serving lots of artisan Welsh drinks, accompanied by occasional entertainment on Saturday nights and live cabaret on Sunday nights. Anything you want to know about the park or sightseeing in the area, just head for the information centre at reception.
