Liked: We booked same day for somewhere to stay after doing a local market. Wow what a beautiful place, the scenery with all the hills around you is just breathtaking. Grounds well maintained and good hard standing pitches fully serviced. The lady guided us to our pitch which was nice. It was so peaceful and chilled for us and the amenities were spotlessly clean including a toilet/shower block with underfloor heating and even a free hairdryer to use. The site also has a elson point. We enjoyed our stay so much that we opted to stay another day. Bargain at £25 for all that was included. Would definitely stay again and would recommend 5 🌟.
Disliked: The only things we would say which isn’t really a dislike were the roads were quite windy and a little difficult to find so I would say maybe a few more signs would be great especially outside main park and reception. Also there’s no or little mobile signal but the wifi is payable if needed for just £3 a day and works well. Also no shop on site or takeaway delivery services but that was ok. Just make sure you take enough supplies for your stay.

Liked: Everything! Friendly owners, beautiful scenery, very clean toilet and shower blocks, washing up area, good disabled facilities, super fun cuddling baby lambs. Literally the best camp site we've stayed on. We forgot our duvet and Sharon (who runs the site) went and got us one of her spare ones and thick blankets. Very little phone signal which is fantastic as we didn't want to be bothered whilst away with the kids. The kids had so much fun and really enjoyed the Easter egg hunt the site put together. If you have a SEN child I would recommend this place to you as they really look after you. One night one of the caravans had very loud music after 10pm, I called the owner up to let them know and within 10 minutes it's was stopped and Sharon came round in the morning to apologies which she didn't need to as they dealt with it quickly and was not the owners fault. We are definitely booking for Easter next year. Perfect family site.
Disliked: Nothing. Can not complain.

Liked: Every thing. The site was clean. The owners were very friendly and did all they could to help you have a good time. They spent time answering any questions you could ask about rearing sheep.
I’ve never been on a friendlier site. Even the people camping in our field were super friendly. First time I’ve ever held a tiny lamb. Put our son and his family on next pitch. Our two grandchildren had a lovely time.
Will definitely go again.

Liked: When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and welcoming by the park's friendly owners. They guided us to our pitch and next to our in-laws.
The children's playpark was clean and well kept - our 5 year old daughter loved it. The shower block nearest to us was lovely and spotless.
There is no mobile phone signal nor internet, which was nice to be off grid for a while, although we did purchase a token for wifi for only £3 for 1 day.
The friendly owners of the caravan park were also in the middle of their lambing season, and nothing was too much trouble - routinely popping by to check we were ok and if we needed anything. They even offered our daughter to see the lambs.
The roads to the park are a little twisty and windy, however the beautiful views and scenery were totally worth it.
We shall definately return!
