Little slice of heaven
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Everything! This campsite was just wonderful. It’s a basic pop up campsite so no showers but a lovely clean compost loo which was well maintained, filtered water drinking tap and normal water tap for handwashing etc.
The most stunning views surrounded by nature with the purest fresh air. Loads of nearby walks and just so peaceful.
The owners were just so gorgeous and lovely and lent me some pans and crockery as I had accidentally lost mine en route! Also kindly gave me a jump start when my car battery was flat.
Delicious cider available to purchase and just the most wonderful peaceful place to camp. No Wi-Fi but you can get phone and data signal no issues. Can’t wait to go again.
Disliked Didn’t dislike anything and would 100% go again. If I was being super nit picky the grass where the pitches are could be mowed a little shorter but not a big issue and probably kept longer for ecological/environmental reasons.

Liked We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Accidental Arts and Ecology Centre. The location is stunning, with beautiful hills surrounding. Our hosts were fabulous and helped us with extra supplies when we forgot our airbed (Oops)! We got to enjoy their delicious cider and even happened to be there when they were putting on a great folk gig. The atmosphere was so warm and everyone was really friendly. Compost toilets were kept clean and stocked up. Our doggo also enjoyed lots of fuss from everyone there.
We can't wait to visit again!

Very, very basic site. Great if you like that sort of thing.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Friendly host.
Peace & quiet (except for the neighbour's dog)
Composting toilets clean with no smell (as they should be).
Disliked Pitches are not level and not flat - basically a roughly mown field.
Composting toilets are very cramped when sitting.
Expensive for such a basic site.

Liked A lovely, spacious campsite overlooking the apple orchards, in great proximity to some beautiful walks in mid-Wales. Bill is a really friendly and hospitable host - he sells delicious locally-made cider and had some great local recommendations for us. Would happily return to this campsite.
