Electric optional gravel touring pitch
Liked: A very quiet and peaceful campsite with beautiful surrounding, the site is clean with a good shower and washing block and the family who run it and very nice and welcoming. There is a running stream alongside it, which me and my little played in with our wellies on and it has a nice play area also. It was a pleasant 40 mins drive to either Aberdyfi or Twywn, we opted for Twyen which was a lovely little town with an amazing steam train ride. We took the Talyllyn Railway to Abergynolwyn and there was a great play area and woodland to explore before heading back.
Disliked: Only thing which disappointed us, was that our pitch was against some trees and so we had no view from from the caravan other than an really old caravan we were parked next to which looked abandoned.

Liked: Very nice service, we asked for an extra heater for the night, we expected a cold night so we got it without any problems. I will definitely go back there with my son👍 Perfect base for Dyfi MTB park👌

Liked: A useful stop off for a single night on our way down the A470. Well maintained site with clean facilities
Disliked: Very much a static caravan park. Great if that’s your thing, but not really ours.

Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Nice location
Disliked: Ridiculously over priced for a small tent.
The tents are placed at the other end of the park from the facilities, which are unclean and the shower curtains were covered in mold.
Couldn't find a drinking water tap.

From the manager: A personal message to the back packer who wrote this. Naturally we were more than concerned at your feedback and it has took a few days to digest your thoughts. Having had so many positive comments over the summer without question we feel its only right we respond.
So the pricing,, fully understand the pricing is geared up for two occupants, and it's something we should address.
Were keen to keep our standards at the very highest for all of the season, so we are most puzzled by the very poor score for facilities and customer service. So we have a small area for campers and yes its literally 20 second walk to the facilities, is this really too far.
Upon arrival you were greeted with our usual welcoming smile and understanding as we recall you were exhausted. So our customer service is questioned and unfortunate in its conclusion. As you know you were directed to the camping area, passing the facilities, a washing up room with fresh drinking water, perhaps you didn't take this onboard whilst we were chatting.
We are onboard with you, one of the shower curtains were soiled and let our image down, but for sure the facilities were cleaned to highest standards appraised all year.
This is a personal address to the young lady who penned this and sincerely hope you will visit us again and stay with us for a couple of nights at our expense.

Disliked: Showers were very clean but could do with a slight upgrade.
