What customers say
This peaceful campsite offers beautiful rural views, large pitches and friendly, helpful owners. Guests enjoyed the farm animals, a nearby river and good value for money. Facilities are generally clean, though some guests noted a limited number of toilets and showers, with upgrades planned. Road noise was mentioned by some on electric pitches.

Weekend 1 night in October weekend,…
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Weekend 1 night in October weekend, really nice site, nice view of the hill, can hear a river somewhere, lots of animals milling around, toilets and shower look like a shack but are nice inside. Friendly host.
Disliked Toilets etc. are a bit of a walk from the pitches, site is not near anything if you need food, town is 10 minute drive away. This is nitpicking really.

A great site with everything you need for a quiet retreat
Electric optional hardstanding pitch
Liked I loved this site. So peaceful and beautiful scenery. Phillipa and Nick have done an amazing job at transforming a field into a lovely campsite. Plenty of hook ups that are well spaced, and a good area for tents. 4 toilets with hot water very clean, and a clean shower with great water pressure. I will go back again when I'm in the area. Can't wait to see their further plans come to fruition.
I loved the animals too ,a bonus for children. And good walks from site. With or without a dog. Highly recommend it.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Location, on the A7, but peaceful and relaxing. Great views of the Scottish hills, and some good walks on the doorstep. Limited facilities but not busy, so not a problem. And kept very clean. Good food and beer in nearby Langholm.
Disliked Bus not really an option for the pub.
