Liked: The best view over Loch Fyne. Access to 5* facilities ie the Marina restaurant and spa. Showers and toilets are shared with the marina so warm, clean and top notch.
Disliked: Access roads with a lot of potholes and midges! It is remote Scotland

Liked: Views were amazing. Close to port. Spa facilities.
Disliked: It’s a very posh complex on the surface but not the highest of quality or cleanliness.
Don’t be fooled by the ‘shop on site’ for camping, it has no useful supplies or food for cooking. But I suppose they would prefer you went to the restaurant. The food was nice but expensive for what it is.
Bike hire was expensive considering the majority of their bikes are broken and they could not cater for everyone.
The site is suited more to the hotel guests, the camping is more of an afterthought and we felt the service received by staff changed when they knew you were staying at the campsite and not in the hotel premises. Seemed a bit snobby

Liked: We loved the setting. Fabulous journey and views just traveling to Portavadie. The amenities were amazing. The outdoor infinity pool is a must, especially towards sunset in February. Guided walks are great and well signposted. We sat on a rock and watched two seals at play. Will we be back…of course we will.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing to dislike about this venue.
