  • Skibbereen and Ballydehob 20 minutes’ drive; Lough Hyne half an hour
  • Exclusive use of a hillside pitch with electricity and water included
Looking for a romantic County Cork hideaway? Your search is over. Book in at adults-only Dromore Hill Farm and you’ll have a two-person camping pitch all to yourself, with views over fields to the hills of West Cork. You get exclusive use of this hillside campsite set among trees, with total privacy guaranteed. The site is supplied with electricity and drinking water, a picnic table and firepit (one wood bundle is included), and is only accessible on foot via stone steps and a grassy path. Private parking is available at a 1950s’ hay shed, which has a covered dining and prep area, drinking water, electricity, toilet, sink and basic cooking facilities including a camp stove, kettle and mini fridge, but no shower amenities. Soak in the peaceful surroundings, as the site is part of a small, working farm with a flock of friendly Zwartbles sheep, a vegetable garden and an orchard. You might want to take the half an hour’s stroll down to the local pub, or sample the best of West Cork’s food scene at award-winning restaurants in Ballydehob (20 minutes’ drive) and Baltimore (35 minutes), and seafood restaurants at Bantry (15 minutes) or Skibbereen (20 minutes). Power off all those calories by hiking local trails straight from the site or cycling the quiet country roads around Dromore without ever having to traverse a busy main road.

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dromore Hill Farm, I can't recommend it enough, The site was very secluded and the views from the camp are amazing, The owners were very friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. We loved the peacefulness of the site and still had access to a clean bathroom and a cooking facilities which is nice

We will Definitely be returning to this beautiful campsite!

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked Private pitch that felt like you were wild with everything provided for you and more.
They were very generous and provided a campfire, hob and all the supplies.
The landscape is just beautiful and even though we were there on a very rainy week it was a very good pitch. Sheltered from the winds. With great views and a fully private experience.

The local town bantry is 15 minute drive and has lovely shops and pubs. We were able to visit lots of lovely places in the area in just 3 days.

We even had the lovely visit from the site kittens!!!

Disliked The rain
