Liked: Toilet and shower facilities were really smart and clean with a nice modern feel.
Washing machine, tumble dryer and a large fridge/freezer to use came in handy.
Manager/owner (Kate) was very polite and helpful during our stay.
Disliked: Tent area isn’t that flat, almost wherever you pitch is on a slight slope.

Liked: The peace and tranquility of an adult only, dog friendly site.
The distance between the hard standing pitches.
The area with the pond to walk our dog.
The showers, toilets and wash room.
Disliked: An onsite shop would have been lovely.

Liked: The site had a very nice feel about it.
Set up was easy, it was clean, the setting was serene and relaxing. The pond was beautiful to watch the sun rise over.
The low light pollution was nice as we brought our telescope with us for stargazing.
Showers, toilets and washing up ares were good quality and clean.
It was a really nice stay and we were disappointed that we were not staying longer.
Staying at a no children site was nice as was quiet, so if you are wanting a relaxing camp away from the busy world, this is a great place to choose.
We will likely come back for another stay.
Disliked: There is nothing to dislike, however it was quiet at the site when we stayed, so don’t know what it would be like when busy.
The toilets are unisex (cubicles), which was fine as it was quiet during our stay, but may be a bit awkward in busy periods of stay.

Liked: Really lovely facilities and location. The lake is beautiful and everything was so peaceful. Our dog loved it also. There birds singing in the morning was wonderful.
There was no waiting for toilets or showers and everyone was respectful of the quiet hours. We didn't need the WiFi either as we had 4G where we pitched up.
Really lovely and would definitely stay again.
Disliked: There wasn't much parking for people camping - there were three other campers, one of whom had a motorbike, and we all took up the little lay by.
A nice lady told us where to go (assuming she was staff) and a gentleman mistook us as the tent who ordered logs who was nice too. But no other signs of staff.
The gentleman told us someone would be around in the morning but we saw no one by the time we left at 10am. Wouldn't have minded except we were asked by other campers where to go/park/about facilities etc because we'd pitched up first!

From the manager: Thank you for your review on pitch up.
We are a self check in site and we value peoples privacy and understand that customers come here to get away from day to day hustle and bustle.
Relax Unwind Re charge is our saying.
I have to apologies for the lack if signage around the site when you came as we are renewing all of our old signage and had lifted them all up. Being an all year round campsite we have very few days where know body is on site so we just have to do the maintanance as and when.
There is a new 40 place carpark in the process of being built for the summer months as we are aware that the small carpark provided is not sufficient.
Our staff come on site between 10am-10:30 when people check out so we do not disturb anybody.
We hope to see you again and so glad you liked our site.
Kind regards
Redlands breaks.
Really really nice, excellent facilities and very clean and relaxed.

Liked: Lovely site, you are in the middle of now where, which is great. We had pitch no.2 over looking the lake and field relatively close to the WC and showers.
All pitches are large with a nice grassed area, the site is clean, well laid out and easily found. If you want to chill or to use this as a sleep over when seeing the local area then this is the place I would chose.
Local walks to the local pub are easy enough to find but best google the pub to see if it is open.
Love the site, so relaxed and just what we wanted.
Disliked: On the web site it may be a good idea to put some of the walking routes on there so people are fully informed of where they can go as some of the grounds are very boggy along the walks.
