Liked: Kept nice and clean
Good facilities
Pleasant atmosphere
Friendly owners/staff
Steam trains running past
Good looking surroundings
Great food truck and local goods van
Hay bales provided lots of fun for the kids
Nice quiet site even though it was a bank holiday with lots of people staying
Lots to do in the beautiful surrounding areas
Would love to come back again!
Disliked: I’d rather pay more to stay than have to feed the meter for a shower (but it wasn’t that bad- just a very minor point)
Later check out time would be nice- we booked an extra night so that we wouldn’t need to rush

Liked: Very helpful, explaining the best pitch places and consciences of everyone following the rules so everyone had a good experience. good facilities
Disliked: Only one toilet block. one further up the site could be handy. but it wasn't too far to walk and we chose to pitch in the position we did so not their fault.

Liked: Good facilities and food vans on site. Lots of drinking water points. Staff were polite and often someone present at reception which stocks lots of essentials.
Disliked: The timers on the showers begin as soon as 20ps are put in, this means quite a few are needed. Some shower heads were spraying everywhere, but manageable.
