What customers say

Reviewers consistently praise Hartland Caravan and Camping Park for its friendly and helpful owners, exceptional cleanliness of facilities, and stunning views. The campsite's prime location, just a short walk from Hartland village with its pubs and shops, is frequently highlighted. While most guests had a flawless experience, a few minor points were raised, including occasional pressure on facilities during peak times and the potential for noise from nearby businesses. Overall, it's highly recommended for a peaceful stay with easy access to local amenities and beautiful walks.

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked Everything…. The hosts were so helpful and gave us loads of info for the local area. Diet was very well kept, clean, beautiful views. 5 minutes walk to the village, pubs (Hart Inn for a cracking roast) cafe on the square for a lovely breakfast. Hartland Quay is a must visit…. We will be back again!

Disliked We had to come home!

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Location, views and the very welcoming and accommodating hosts Becca and Rob.

Disliked Could do with maybe some washing up facilities in the top fields, as 2 for the whole site was busy most of the time (after mealtimes).

Electric grass pitch

Liked Convenient shower and toilet facilities.
Excellent pitch size.
Becka/Bex was wonderful, super friendly, chatty and literally couldbt do enough to help.
The view from our pitch (field 1) was exceptional - can see st nectans church in neighbouring stoke, the ruins atop hartland quay and of course...the sea!
Excellent location for exploring all the north of cornwall and all of devon.
I dont normally like going back to the same place - too much of an explorer - id come back here though.

No onsite Wifi or internet access - signal can be patchy out this way so would be useful for many. I was grateful for the tech detox!

Disliked Not really a dislike but i feel the site would benefit from/could capitalise on a small store on site. Selling camping/food essentials, I appreciate this may annoy the 2 shops in the village though.

Local attractions

Hartland Abbey is five minutes’ drive away from the site for relaxed roams around an old historical structure, although the rides of The Milky Way Adventure Park (10 minutes) could be a better option if you’re looking for entertainment for the kids… Younger members of your group may also be less keen on peering at the work in the Burton Art Gallery and Museum (25 minutes), which has lots of local crafts on display, but are sure to appreciate bucket and spade times at the sandy beach of Westward Ho! half an hour’s drive away. You might also be able to convince them into coming on morning jaunts to Northam Burrows Country Park (also 30 minutes) or birdwatching at the RSPB Isley Marsh (35 minutes) with the lure of an afternoon at The Big Sheep farm-themed amusement park (20 minutes).
