Really lovely, spacious, clean and friendly site.
Maddy bell tent
Liked We loved how spacious and friendly this campsite is! We also loved the luxury of the glamping tents and the activities available to us.
We will definitely be returning.
Disliked We felt that the glamping tents should be situated closer to the showers/toilets etc. We would also have liked the option of electricity, even just to charge devices. With 2 autistic children, some downtime with devices is important.
Could possibly do with a play area for children.

Great site, fabulous atmosphere, lovely staff and super location.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely site with a great atmosphere. Pitches are really sizeable and there's loads of space for the kids to play. Lots to do on site including bike hire, bike track for the kids, zip wire, hot tub, cold tub and even a little spa if you fancy a massage or treatment! Walks surround the site and it's really well placed for Ilfracombe or Woolacombe etc. Site has a good shop with lots of food options and a cafe that serves food and coffee (the breakfasts smelt amazing!). Facilities are fairly basic but kept clean and tidy. You can hire a firepit for the evenings with wood to burn so the site looks so cozy after dusk. Super friendly team with a lovely welcome, really make you feel at home! There's a cracking sheepdog and falconry show at the next door farm each Wednesday teatime and just next to the entrance of the site (Lee Bridge) you can hop onto an off road cycle/walking track that is lovely and safe for the kids. If you're staying on the top field remember to bring levelling ramps and a good torch. All in all, this is a fabulous all rounder of a site with a perfect balance of action during the day and quiet recharge time at night. Well done!
Disliked Only downside (apart from not being able to stay longer!) is the road leading to it. There's around a quarter of a mile bit of road that is only wide enough for one vehicle with a few blind bends, and it's clear the locals aren't overly happy at having to share the space with caravans/motorhomes. I was moaned at twice in my week there with one 'gentleman' refusing point blank to reverse his car a little to let myself and the family behind through. Not the fault of the camp site at all but be prepared!! Otherwise nothing at all to dislike about the camp site, it was fabulous.
