Liked: Friendly and helpful owners. Lovely site with great views over the moors. Whole site was clean and well kept. Toilets and shower blocks are clean (although in need of updating which will be done in the next year). Washing area available for longer stays to clean your Washing. Will definitely be staying there again.

Non-electric grass pitch (secluded)
Liked: EVERYTHING!
- We got a secluded pitch which was the absolute best! So nice to have the privacy whilst camping especially with a dog that barks at anything!
- Toilets and showers were clean and water was warm
- use of communal fridge and freezer
- free solar charging box for devices
- small play area and field for kids to play
- small on site shop with everything you’d need and reasonably priced
- lovely owners!
- dog walking area
- peaceful
- on pitch wifi
- beautiful skies at night
Honestly we had a fabulous time here - did our longest ever camp and it was made easy by the handy facilities and welcoming and peaceful nature of the site.

Electric optional hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: Owners are friendly, helpful and welcoming. They will help you with anything to make your stay more enjoyable. The dog walking field is great, the site is quiet and tidy. The showers are never too busy, there is always one free. The shop is small but has lots of good stuff and all the essentials, as well as ice creams for the kids! Would recommend this one and will be going again next year!

Tamar Valley Camping
Date of stay 14th August Extremely friendly and helpful couple. Beautiful, clean site and a spectacular view. Has a dog walking route, washing machine and fridge, showers, toilets , washing up facilities, water and waste disposal facilities. There is even a small shop selling essentials and their own free range eggs, bacon and sausages . Love their ambitions for carbon neutral/ eco friendly positive attitudes
We highly recommend this site , and have already planned to use it again next year
Tips for other travellers Good location on the border of Devon and Cornwall, and close to Tavistock for amenities such as Leisure Centre, shops and pharmacy, pubs and church and of course the famous Pannier Market
