Welcoming and friendly stay
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The family running the farm were extremely friendly and welcoming.
I absolutely loved the idea of the little food van they had with well priced food and veggie options - really appreciated!
When we arrived there were gale force 8 winds forecast. We were encouraged by the owners to go to the farmhouse if we didn't feel safe and they gave us papers with contact numbers and information about the site and their farm which was very appreciated and nice to learn about.
As the wind picked up we saw they were placing hay bales possibly to help shelter some tents from the winds which I thought was very kind and the owners had been helping people to peg tents and pitch up or take down. Despite the hostile wind we felt very welcome and cared for.
The facilities were great, the showers were wonderful and the composting toilets in good condition. It was a popular spot and the fellow campers were a good bunch too.
We walked up the path into Cadgwith which only took maybe half an hour, lovely pint at the Inn and amazing views. Lizard also a very manageable walk away.
Disliked Nothing!

Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Fantastic campsite, owners could not be more helpful. Very laid back atmosphere with spectacular sea views. Great walks straight on to the coast path. Super quiet at night. Food truck amazing, had breakfast and dinner from it -all freshly made from scratch - so impressed with the amount of effort and hard work! And always with a smile. After coming from a very commercialised site we felt we could breathe again! Will definitely be back!

From the manager: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the toilets weren’t up to our usual standard during your stay. On one of the days you visited, we unfortunately ran out of our usual sawdust and had to use wood shavings instead, which do not absorb as effectively. This is not typical — as many previous guests have mentioned, our composting toilets are normally completely odour-free.
As part of our commitment to being a low-impact site, we use composting toilets to help protect the field in its natural state, saving over 2,000 litres of water each week. While we won’t be changing this eco-friendly approach, we will make sure we are always well-stocked with the right sawdust so that the facilities remain fresh and pleasant for all future guests.
