Billy Blue bell tent
Liked: We stayed in one of the glamorous glamping spots Billy Blue.
It was perfectly located and very well set up with everything we needed for our holiday.
Great location to base our selves in to do regular day trips and access all the beautiful beaches and coves near by.
What made our stay even better was the owners of the site, being so welcome and friendly and accommodating.

Good location
Disliked: The smell of the toilets and the septic tank were horrendous making the toilet block in one field unusable.
One of the drinking water taps was right next to the waste from the toilets which is extremely unhygienic given how awful it smelt.

From the manager: Hi Molly
I'm very sorry to hear about this problem you incurred whilst staying here. We are surprised as we have not had any other complaints of this nature. Firstly let me assure you that the water stand pipe is fed straight off the mains water supply so nothing to do with the toilet blocks. Yes it is close to the toilet block but guests prefer the services for their camping to be in the same vicinity for ease of use.
This is a pop up campsite and therefore we have moveable trailer toilets which are connected to a sealed sewage tank so there shouldn't be any smell arising. However we do have to empty the sewage tanks at times and we try and do this when guests are out for the day to cause the minimum inconvenience but sometimes we will need to do this outside of these times . When this is done there will be a smell but it disappears quickly.
In the meantime we will investigate the issue and see if we can do anything to improve things.
We are genuinely sorry for the issues you found as all we really want is happy campers who enjoy their stay. Thank you for your feed back.
The peace and quiet very nice stay…
