Disliked Toilets and showers could do with an upgrade and a good clean. Only 2 toilets and two showers.
We had food in the restaurant on a Monday night, when we sat down we got told that the fryers weren’t working so there wasn’t any chips and also a few other items weren’t available. Food was nice but limited.

Liked Flat well cared for grass pitches with views beyond the hedges to the neighbouring reservoir. The pub was welcoming, and the food was excellent. We enjoyed exploring the nearby mining heritage and associated walks.
Disliked The wash basins were in the toilet cubicles but there were no shelves or hooks for towels etc. One of the basins was tiny. The showers were hot and there were hooks but the facilities in general were tired and in need of upgrading. Everything was cleaned daily.

Liked Pitches were fairly level, peaceful, easy check in etc. The food in the pub is delicious - and the pub itself is a gem!
Disliked Facilities could really do with improvement, the toilet and shower block was grubby, and the only sinks available to brush teeth were in the toilet cubicles which didn’t feel very hygienic.

Liked We had a lovely overnight stay, good services, lovely pub food with friendly staff. The landlady advised the pub has recently reopened under new management and intend to do up the toilet block, it is functional but needs some tlc, we will be going back and would recommend to friends.
