Liked: Nice location, very quiet, only a small site so not many others there, toilets and shower are nice and clean, ground is nice and flat, just a lovely little site out the way, perfect, would definitely stay again if we go that general area again

Liked: Quiet area. Provision of logs for a fire pit is a nice touch at £10.
Disliked: Entirely my own fault, assumed that the listing description of bespoke toilets etc applied to the basic campsite too - it did not. In retrospect this was explained in the listing.
The facilities available for basic camping are: unlit shower in anoutbuilding and two unlit festival style portaloos. There is a tap for drinking water.

Landpod camping pod
Liked: The site is well laid out with private areas for each pod or hut. It's a well kept site, clean and fresh. The toilet and shower huts are clean and fresh feeling. The landpod is very comfortable. It was so good to have charging available in the pod. Laura and her 2 dogs are friendly.
Disliked: Nothing.

We saw the owners' dogs wee on people's camping equipment - there did seem to be some understanding from the owners that not everyone likes dogs (and we do), but it is probably better to keep them off the camping field as a default as it is quite a difficult thing to complain about if you're not keen.

From the manager: Hellol Thank you for taking time write your review. We do try and keep the dogs away from the camping field but guests feed them and they are very good escape artists! I do ask all guests to call me if the dogs appear. I am also getting more secure fencing and gates put around our garden so hopefully this will no longer be a problem. Laura

Sussex shepherd's hut
Liked: Loved loved loved the place! Son really wanted to go camping so this was what my husband and I compromised with - very cute shepherd's hut with great shower and toilet facilities. Wonderful location in a field where we could see the farm's cows in the distance. We were sharing the field with two other families with kids but there was plenty of space and everyone was very friendly.
We had great weather and opted to purchase the breakfast option one of the mornings, which was brought to the table outside our hut. We had a really enjoyable tour and got to feed the chickens and ducks - my son loved biking around to see the very friendly cows in the other field. We biked over to Stansted House and spent a wonderful afternoon at West and East Wittering and enjoyed the beautiful clear night sky - star gazing. Heartily recommend the place.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Site was very clean and well kept. Owner was very friendly and welcomed everyone as and when they arrived. Accommodating when I asked for fire wood quite late into the evening.
Disliked: The rooster. At 4am. Right next to the pitch. And for the rest of the morning leaving us unable to sleep from then onwards. I understand it's a farm. I truly do. I get that there may be noises etc but this was the only thing that let the place down for us. We were so tired and grumpy because of it we forefited the second day/night stay. I mean this thing was LOUD. The 4 kids I had along were adamant they didn't want another night stay.

From the manager: Thank you for taking time to write a review. I am very sorry to hear that the cockerel was that loud, we will locate him to another part of the farm. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Laura
