Liked: Extremely good bunkhouse with all the amenities you could ever need. I especially liked the kitchen. Very good value for money. The people that run it really care about camping and it shows, as they've thought about everything.

Liked: Lovely place, super-friendly wardens - all volunteers - who did their best to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. Lots of nice touches such as tea/coffee/condiments if you have forgotten anything and a micro shop for essentials like porridge and toothpaste. There's a small kitchen and dining area next to the barn. (There are no shops nearby.)
Lots of games and local info etc with a very nice pub next door for meals and to meet the locals. Everything is very eco-centric so you get a discount if you arrive by bike of £3 a night! Even without this, you likely won't find anywhere cheaper in this part of the world.
You will be sharing the space with others if there are other people there but I was the only one when I stayed.
Disliked: It is quite chilly in the barn but if you ask, you can have extra blankets and hire a sleeping bag. The shower is right next to the toilet so the floor does get a bit wet.
Also you can hear noise from A31 if wind in the wrong direction.
