Liked: Stayed over Easter weekend, lots of children but no noise, plenty for them to do in the centre without causing trouble for other campers. Staff were lovely and very helpful when needed. Perfect for walking along the Thames. Didn’t use the showers so cannot comment on those but seemed clean.
Disliked: Nothing to mention

Liked: Friendly welcome, large pitches and we liked that tents, motorhomes and caravans could all be side by side. Also, you could park up any way you chose. Our son and family were beside us in their tent which was lovely. Play area in the centre with a sandpit pit meant the kids could run around and be seen. They loved digging in the sand. There were some sand toys there and maybe add some more buckets and spades. Benches to sit and watch them play. There was also a slide and some climbing equipment.
Big park beside the site and easy walks along river to several pubs.
Lovely and quiet at night.
Shower and toilet blocks were older in style and 2 of the gents toilets were out of action. But were spotlessly clean so can't complain. New owners are bound to make some updates in time. The site had only opened the day before.
Great family site. We really enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Overall very happy with the site as a camping site. A cute play area, including a sand pit, climbing frame, volleyball net, football goals and more; all secured inside the site which is gated and fenced throughout.
We didn’t explore all the indoor area, but the facilities we used such as the laundry room, washing area for utensils and the bathrooms/shower rooms were all perfect. After reading some other reviews I was sceptical but I’m very glad we stayed here, it’s not a hotel or a holiday park, but it exceeded our expectations for “camping”!
I like overall how the site is run, the women who maybe owns the site is very friendly and caring- on the Sunday she invited all children for an Easter affair hunt and always checked when passing we slept okay and we’re happy.
Even when the bathrooms got busy they were generally well kept! A few people I noticed moaned when other users left an area a tad dirty or when the showers went “warm” instead of hot… but in my opinion the site kept checking in and cleaning ect very regularly. This all should be expected by what seemed a small family run business in a small setting. I was pleased and over 5 days I had a hot shower daily along with my 4 children and used the facilities plenty.
Gorgeous spot, lots of walks, Thorpe park took us 10 mins to drive (if that) and Chessington was 30 mins.
We will be returning very soon!
Tent pitched, hookup and VW transporter all situated together.
Disliked: Only things I found negative but doesn’t put me off because these things can happen, is that one day I paid the washing machine and although given 2 hours, on this particular day the machine didn’t work; this was my last day and I couldn’t be bothered to go back to reception and ask for this to be sorted but I guarantee they would have put on the machine next to the faulty one or returned my money.
And there was one damaged toilet roll holder which fell down and bumped my head. Although it made me giggle after the initial shock it may have hurt or bothered someone else more so would be best to leave a cubicle with damage shut.

Liked: Pitches well spaced, play park for the children, they even put on an Easter event for the children. Good pubs within easy walking distance. Ideally located for Thorpe Park and Legoland. Do not listen to the bad reviews on the toilets, they are fine, we have come across much much worse, really couldn’t see the issue!
Disliked: Hot water struggled to manage, not sure if this was a one off or due to demand, I embraced the cold water shower although the lady next to me did sound so positive haha
