What customers say
This adults-only campsite offers a peaceful and tranquil escape on a working rare breeds farm, praised for its beautiful surroundings, quiet atmosphere, and generous, level pitches. Visitors consistently highlight the exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, particularly Guy, who is frequently mentioned for his welcoming nature and informative farm tours. Facilities are noted as clean and well-maintained. Minor points include the unisex nature of some facilities and the need to arrange cash payments. Despite a few comments about narrow access roads, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Would stay again mid week out of season
Electric grass pitch
Liked Pitch and facilities. Views good till front rows filled up next to field where other none electric camping was, which could get very full looking at the number of marked pitches. Best mid week out of season I think
Disliked Adults only site but adjoining woodland pitches and activity site had children walking through adult only site to facilities with the accompanying children noises. Also the arrival time not kept to so had people on next pitch setting up late.

not sure quite which weekend you stayed
We are Adult only any children on site would have been my grandchildren visiting
and they would be aware of the rules surrounding our visitors
Their visit to the woods would have been a short amount of time
We have 10 grandchildren !

Thanks for your review.
Little disappointed with your 8 out of 10.
We get a little disappointed if we dont get 10 out of 10 as you will see from the majority of our reviews.
I always remind people we are a CL not a fully blown caravan and camping site.
As a CL our facilities exceed many other CL sites plus we have the backdrop and stage of our rare breed animals.

Will definitely return
